| 06.26.2013 – The Lone Ranger merchandise are not as plenty as other properties tied to big budget films or animated features but certainly the iconic Cowboy and Indian has put quite a lot of impression when it came out with LEGO sets.
Securing the rights to produce six sets based from the upcoming film its rare you see in a western themed toys dominated by science fiction and fantasy. It’s something that you no longer see in this era that’s why a previous cowboy flick was long forgotten. |
But the Lone Ranger is not just your masked vigilante Cowboy or some voodoo looking Indian. The upcoming film was inspired by its previous iteration spanning eighty years as an enduring icon of the American culture. LEGO the most brand of building toys has since released the sets based in them movie.
The first set is designated 79107 “Comanche Camp” featuring Lone Ranger, Tonto, and an Indian named Red Knee details described below…
“Journey to the Comanche Camp with the Lone Ranger and Tonto! Visit Red Knee in the teepee with removable canopy and campfire. Check out the weapon rack then jump in the canoe and go fishing. Next set is designated 79109 “Colby City Showdown” which includes 5 mini figures that has Lone Ranger, Tonto, Texas Ranger Dan Reid with two bandits names Frank and Ray. This set would definitely a fun build and here’s the description…

The Lone Ranger LEGO sets are now available in Philippine toy stores. The film stars Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp which is set to be shown on July 17, 2013 from Walt Disney Studious to be distributed by Columbia Pictures Philippines. LEGO is Distributed in the Philippines by LAJ Marketing.
