There’s not much promotion about this television show, but it shows to having potential with the right stories written all over it. Almost Human gives you a view of the future thirty five years from now.
The premise of the pilot reveals John Kennex as the only survivor of his squad who battled a crime syndicate. Thought dead but was in a coma for 17 months, who tries to piece together what’s left of his memory after the fatal injury that put him out.
Almost Human was created by J. H. Wyman for Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. Television. Along with Wyman, Bryan Burk and J. J. Abrams are executive producers of the series. J. J. Abrams who’s hard at work in directing the next Star Wars film is executive producer, which makes the series as interesting having Karl Urban as the lead for the show.
If you’ve seen his portrayal of iconic characters with Dr. McCoy and Judge Dredd see him breathe life to John Kennex. The new series has already aired the second episode, and it will be shown also in Asia.
The end credit music adds some personality in this film done by Crystal Method to have a feel that it was set in the future. Visually and in sound Almost Human is a new series worth catching on television.
