| Dragon Ball is an iconic anime franchise since the 1980s and continue to conquer the world with its ever expanding anime series and theatrical films. Their latest is Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero that has been released in Japan back in 11 June 2022, and it is having its succeeding releases in selected parts of Asia.
In the Philippines, it will be shown 31 August 2022 that unexpectedly to coincide the release is Swatch that just unveiled their collaboration with Toei Animation that produced the “Swatch x Dragon Ball Z” watches featuring the iconic characters from the original series, and it sure is something to add to a Dragon Ball fans’ collection! |
Swatch teams up with Dragon Ball Z in bringing some of the iconic characters from the popular Manga and Anime series you have grown up with. There have been countless merchandises that featured the Dragon Ball Z series with toys and action figures. But this one in partnership with Swatch takes the famed anime into iconic status.
Each Swatch featured an iconic character from the Dragon Ball Z series, and there are seven of theme that brings colour to the Swiss watch brand. They became available in their Philippine stores since 25 August 2022, and based on the staff info they are very limited release that means they’re going to be an immediate sold out for hardcore fans who have been watching the original series from the beginning.
There are seven characters and they are:
- Goku
- Vegeta
- Kamesen'nin ("Master Buten")
- Buu ("Majin Buu")
- Cell
- Frieza
- Gohan
Currently, the Swatch outlet in Greenbelt Mall only have three characters featuring Kamesen’nin Master Buten), Frieza, and Buu (Majin Buu). Each character have their designated colours and Swatch design exclusive only available for a limited time. Below are the characters available in this store with their individual retail price.
