Scooby Doo Apocalypse #1 | End of the World

06.08.2016 – Scooby Doo is a classic animated franchise originally introduced in 1969 as “Scooby Doo Where Are You?” The series spawned several iterations of the series and was adapted in to live action films in the early 2000s. It’s a story about four teenagers and their weird talking dog solving mysteries.

They are more like the Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys with more geared toward the younger audience. Early this year DC Comics announced that they plan to reboot the beloved classic along with Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, Wacky Races and other Hanna-Barbera contemporaries with a fresh perspective. “Future Quest #1” was met with success that made the characters of Space Ghost, Birdman and the Galaxy Trio, Jonny Quest, and Herculiods exist in a single universe.

But with “Scooby Doo Apocalypse” this one certainly was definitely made a major overhaul change in the characters as well as their origins. From teenagers and their dog taking on solving mysteries they’ve become four different individuals. It’s based on the concept by DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee, which explains major change for each character...

“X-Men Apocalypse” is Beast in the PH Box Office!

05.24.2016 – The “X-Men: Apocalypse” has descended in cinemas as one of the sought after superhero film around Asia.

20th Century Fox’s “X-Men: Apocalypse” reigns supreme at the box-office with its PhP 230 million opening weekend (first five days) in the Philippines in 476 screens. It also dominated and opened number one on its first day of release (opened May 18) in the country with PhP 45 million in box-office receipts.

Movie Review | X-Men: Apocalypse

05.18.2016 – If you grew up the X-Men animated series chances are whenever there’s a new film coming out you’ll probably humming to the tune of the opening music. Unlike the animated series the film’s scope is different and taken in a grand way.

With that the latest instalment is ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ that has been highly anticipated and already is getting mixed reactions due to the introduction of the main antagonist in Apocalypse portrayed by Oscar Isaac.

X-Men: Apocalypse PH Midnight Screening Announced!

05.17.2016 - The X-Men franchise is one of the longest film series pre-dating Marvel Studios’ own cinematic universe. It has produced the first X-Men trilogy followed by X-Men Origins: Wolverine then a prequel with X-Men First Class, another Wolverine film and slight rebooted the franchise with X-Men: Days Future Past.

This is not including the recently anticipated Deadpool film that was shown earlier this year. The X-Men is still relevant in the comicbook realm being iconic have been a favorite when the animated series debuted in the 1990s now here comes its latest iteration the fans are looking forward to see.

Its one of the biggest film in the franchise as they take on one big bad mutant that they have never faced before, which is one of the reasons why you want to see this. The X-Men as a franchise is something anticipated with its iteration of the film based on the comicbook created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Jennifer Lawrence Returns to X-Men: Apocalypse!

05.13.2016 – Jennifer Lawrence’s breakout film was not ‘The Hunger Games’ it started with ‘X-Men: First Class’, and there have been news that ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ will be her last go around as Mystique, the mutant shapeshifter.

But it was later confirmed Lawrence is excited to be part of this franchise and have stated she looks forward to more X-Men films to come. With that expect Raven Darkhölme AKA Mystique to lead the young X-Men against Apocalypse!

X-Men: Apocalypse is Next Visually Ambitious Film!

05.08.2016 – The next X-Men film will continue the storyline that rebooted the franchise from “Days Future Past” and re-introducing the original characters from the first trilogy that has been around for the past fifteen years.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” is set to push the visual and narrative of the franchise that put Marvel’s merry mutants to the pop culture conscious in the time film industry was still trying to find out if the ‘super hero genre’ is the next best thing to cinemas ever changing trends. It’s one of the earliest super hero films not produced by Marvel, but with 20th Century Fox that got everyone paid attention.

Set a decade after the events of “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” the latest “X-Men: Apocalypse” that will open on May 18 in Philippine cinemas finds the mutants in 1983 living their own lives. Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) has his school for gifted youngsters up and running, and has some promising new students he’s guiding as they figure out their lives. Erik “Magneto” Lensherr (Michael Fassbender) is living a quiet family life in Poland, while Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) is eschewing her mutant side, worried that humanity still doesn’t completely accept them.

The Four Horsemen Unleashed in X-Men: Apocalypse!

04.28.2016 – “X-Men: Apocalypse” without a doubt one of the super hero films that has been highly anticipated. Introducing Apocalypse as the big bad won’t be the baddest if not for his ‘Four Horsemen’ that would be a handful for the heroes.

Originally appearing in Marvel’s X-Factor #15 (cover dated: April 1987), but with a different roster that did not include Magneto and Psylocke. The popularity of the characters and connection with Apocalypse is logical to make them part of the film.

X-Men Apocalypse Final Trailer Reveal!

04.26.2016 – Don’t count out “X-Men Apocalypse” as 20th Century Fox released its final trailer after big films ahead of this one has been seen in the big screen. Bryan Singer is bringing his ‘A’ game in the latest instalment of the franchise.

Of course the X-Men will have some help from a very familiar mutant that has been around long enough to be seen in this trailer.

04.19.2016 – Apocalypse in Marvel comics is a powerful immortal and the first mutant known as En Sabah Nur. He will debut in the upcoming film “X-Men: Apocalypse” portrayed by Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens).

There’s not much needed to say who Apocalypse is having a level of power that compared to Thanos or even DC comics’ Darkseid this despot is ready to rule in the X-Men live action film that was teased in previous trailers.
