John Carter the upcoming science fiction film is about to be shown sometime this week in the Philippines courtesy of
Walt Disney Pictures. This stars
Taylor Kitsch in the role of John Carter based on the character of
Edward Rice Burroughs eleven volumes of the Barsoom series.
The marketing for this film has been ever present in Manila and we sighted one huge billboard at the Central station of the MRT (Metro Rail Transit) while waiting for our last ride. The film also star
Wilem Dafoe as the Barsoomian Warrior Tars Tarkas and John Carter’s ally.
