Jeremy Shada, Make Out Monday, Allison Harvard, and Leanna Vamp made a splash at the media day for Asia Pop Comicon, but few noticed J★RYU, the toy designer who revealed his soon-to-be released creation.
The west coast-based designer/sculptor/artist has been in the forefront of Art Collectible designs in making his niche incorporating his unique style that inspired him growing up watching Japanese Super Robots.
J★RYU was candid about talking about bringing the word out regarding Art Collectibles pertaining to the Designer Vinyl Toys that’s slowly getting attention in the Philippine scene thanks to the whirlwind popularity of another brand that produces vinyl toys. He was enthusiastic about the business side and his passion for creating his own art collectibles at the same time praising the Filipino-based visual artists’ toy designers that’s making a name in the urban lifestyle scene rarely acknowledged by the mainstream in the country.
He unveiled the final design for his next collaboration with kid robot and inviting local fans to see it at APCC Manila:
