APCC Manila 2016 | Eleven Rules Sunday!

08.29.2016 – The last day of AsiaPop Comic Con Manila is like Saturday packed with even more people attending this event. It’s still filled with activities and happenings courtesy of exhibitors who have their own gimmick attracting visitors to their booths.

Though the weekend was winding down there’s still enough happenings to look forward to. There’s still on-stage panel discussions with guest artists. Plus there’s the CAGE finals all set to rock some of the best cosplayers from this county.

APCC Manila 2016 | Interviews Hoult, Dempsie & More!

08.28.2016 – The second day for AsiaPop Comicon was the busiest Saturday as most of the visitors this is their first day. Even though the SMX Convention Centre was fully utilized for this event it is still well occupied by guests and attendees.

This was the biggest event to ever used the entire facility for APCC and if you thought some are already claiming that they’re the biggest event in the Philippines then you better check out the guests for Saturday having Millie Bobby Brown and Nicholas Hoult both are rising starts that already headliners for this years.

APCC Manila 2016 | Metals Die Cast

08.27.2016 – If you happen to miss the previous toy-related event then you must not miss Asia Pop Comicon Manila. JADA Toys’ Metals Die Cast will be at this event for the weekend featuring soon-to-be-released on retail figures.

Previously Metals Die Cast made its debut at the recently concluded Toy Kingdom’s Toy Expo 2016 revealing what’s coming to their superhero line of figures from DC and Marvel. Some of the images weren’t revealed featuring all these new characters, but this time here are some of them that you might find them interesting.

08.27.2016 – The first day of Asia Pop Comicon Manila in the new venue at the SMX Convention Centre has already have crowds lining up early in the morning.

This is probably the first pop culture convention to have rented the entire SMX Convention Centre for the next three days.

From top to bottom all halls used by the organizers have been occupied and if you happen to missed the first day there are some interesting exhibitors to go to this Saturday that you surely not to miss.

APCC Manila 2016 | Media Day

08.25.2016 – The Asia Pop Comicon Manila is on its second year. This time the event moves to a bigger venue at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City happening on August 26-28, 2016.

The Media Day introduced some new guests lined up along with familiar faces for this year. The event is hosted by Justin Quirino and it was held at Conrad Hotel’s Lounge area, which are also the residents for APCC Manila 2016. Leveling up the mastery of all things pop and geeky is almost here…

APCC Returns to Manila in 2016!

01.19.2016 – Due to the success in 2015, Asia Pop Comic Con is returning to Manila bigger and tons of surprises. The event that rocked the country and change how a comic convention should be organized is THE ONLY event you should be.

The announcement of the teaser poster has been revealed and its only January, but every month a possible reveal of who will be the major guest this year will definitely bring the excitement back to the one true fan convention!

09.19.2015 – Besides launching ‘The Crystal Key’ during Asia Pop Comicon’s ‘Media Day’, J★RYU has another surprise that can be found in this event. He also launches a teaser for his next project, which would eventually his new Art Toy.

He mostly spent the day at the Guest Area meeting new faces and introducing the Art Collectible or namely the Vinyl Toy few have seen by mainstream aside from the ever growing popularity of the Funko Pop. But the Pokket Vampire is new for you to see…

09.19.2015 – Asia Pop Comicon Manila continues this weekend and the crowd build-up starts today. One of the highlights for this event is the announced guests, which you’ll meet either at the Guest Area or the scheduled Signing Area.

All systems go yesterday when APCC Manila opened its doors to the public on a Friday. But the build up will definitely happen today as most of the fans are looking forward to the Captain America: Civil War teaser but the guests here are the highlight.

APCC 2015 Manila: Filbar's | Hot Toys Exclusives!

09.18.2015 – Filbar’s will be at Asia Pop Comicon Manila and they are bringing the Hot Toys collectible action figure as their main product line. The Philippines sole distributors to anything Hot Toys related will also have these figures on display.

The granddaddy of comic shops in the Philippines has evolved into a pop culture store powerhouse since new owners has acquired the company from the original founder in 2012. Not only they bringing high end collectible like Hot Toys there’s a lot more…

09.18.2015 – Asia Pop Comicon Manila opened its doors for ‘Industry Pro’ for those who work in a company or have their own business this is a great opportunity to see what to expect at this show. This is mostly what con goers see on ‘Preview Day.’

For those Tomica series’ diecast vehicles you’ll be surprised what else they have revealed aside from the TEM (Tomica Event Models) series during ‘Media Day’. Certainly you’ll be in for a treat that you might spend the day at APCC Manila.

APCC Manila 2015: Five Things & More to See!

09.17.2015 – There are more than ways to have the best fan experience at the Asia Pop Comicon and it begins with your support to the local and foreign artists that made this event happen in the first place and continue that to the next show to come.

The first day is always the eruption of excitement for those first time attendees who has never went to any international fan conventions. There’s a lot to go around but here are a few things you should be excited about the very first APCC Manila!

APCC Manila 2015: Media Day Sights & Highlights!

09.16.2015 – Asia Pop Comicon Manila ‘Media Day’ has given the media a sneak preview what to expect for this event.

The press conference has a lot of surprises aside from the announced guests featuring Linda Le aka Vampy Bit Me and J*Ryu.

The surprise for ‘Media Day’ of course is Jeremy Shada, who is voice behind Finn the Human in Adventure Time and his band Make Out Monday.

The other guest to grace on a Tuesday afternoon is Allison Harvard from Asia’s Next Top Model.

09.16.2015 – During the Asia Pop ComiCon Manila “Media Day” the host of the show Nikko Ramos introduced some of the guests for this event. One of the surprises was Jeremy Shada, the voice of Finn the Human of Adventure Time.

The versatile young talent was one of the surprise guests that were called out on stage along with his band Make Out Monday. Shada gave an exclusive interview with the media and what other surprises he has in store for the upcoming APCC in Manila.

09.16.2015 – Apart from the guests at Asia Pop Comicon that were featured during ‘Media Day’ there where several merchandise which was on display. They are mostly from the exhibitors for this event namely Ban Kee Trading, Comicave and Filbar’s.

Of course no fan won’t get their chance to see the exclusives and collectibles, which are only available at APCC Manila with Ban Kee they are the local distributors for Bandai’s popular Gundam property and Takara Tomy’s Tomica diecast cars!

APCC: The 1st Asia Pop ComiCon in Manila!

Like me, it is every geek's Mecca is to go to San Diego ComiCon but sadly, not all will get the opportunity. So why not bring the ComicCon to Asia. Geeks all over this continent will now rejoice as the first Asia Pop ComiCon is now here starting with Manila as the first leg of event.

In the absence of Jason Momoa whose guesting was cancelled, Marvel's Agent Carter's Chad Michael Murray, Game Of Thrones' Natalie Emmanuel, Teen Wolf and Arrow's Colton Haynes, Marvel's The Avengers' Paul Bettany, Pro-wrestler Bill Goldberg who will be joined with his fellow cast of upcoming movie 'Checkpoint' and Jeremy Shada, the voice of Adventure Time's Finn who arrived days early with his band Make Out Monday.

APCC Manila 2015: J★RYU Reveal The Crystal Key!

09.15.2015 – J★RYU is one of the highlighted guests at Asia Pop Comicon happening this September 17 to 20 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. He’s been known in the urban lifestyle scene as a toy designer for art collectibles.

He was introduced earlier as one of the guests at the media day for the event. He also revealed his collaboration with Kid Robot an exclusive Dunny of his design that’s going to be released as a limited edition this November and will be at APCC!

APCC Manila Release Guest Rates!

09.11.2015 – Asia Pop Comiccon Manila is a few days away and guests announced are making the Philippine scene excited.

This is the first international convention that certainly brings the biggest names unlike any event out there.

For some Filipinos they might be a little turned off, but everyone should understand for an international event also comes the price to spend. The entrance alone is a hefty amount to pay for three days, but you’ll be surprise about the guests…

Asia Pop Comiccon Manila Guests Revealed!

07.06.2015 – Asia Pop Comiccon is two months away the first international fan convention to be held in the Philippines has rolled its carpet for the big names in the entertainment industry. It will be the biggest to happen that fans are looking forward to be part of without the need to travel outside neighbouring parts of Asia.
