Mythology Class 20th Anniversary at Komiket 2019!

09.30.2019 – The fourth quarter of 2019 is pushing for more surprises and interesting things with regard to Filipino Comics. Ahead of the upcoming Komiket 2019 is the re-release of Arnold Arre’s the Mythology Class that won the 2000 National Book Award, which will give you a tease to the upcoming sequel.

This is also the 20th Anniversary year of the original series that put the writer/artist on the map and changed the way Filipino Komiks was produced and inspired a generation of authors that made their own stories about the rich mythology of the Filipino Folklore that also reflects the country’s culture.

Halloween Comic Fest 2017 | News & Shops

10.27.2017 – Halloween weekend is almost here but for those who haven’t heard any event happening this Satruday for those who’ll be interested in taking home FREE COMICS this might be a good news as list of selected shops participating around Asia and South Australia has been announced.

Halloween Comic Fest has been an annual event since 2012 and like Free Comic Book Day this is the day everyone comes and grab a couple of fee comics. But in a Halloween theme without the need for trick or treat when you visit your nearest store and here’s a very short list of the shops…

06.11.2016 – When you buy physical comicbooks you support the local shops and of course grow the community. There’s nothing wrong with competition as all you know all of these shops only have one source, which is Diamond Comics Distributors Inc.

M.A.S.K. Takes Flight in the New IDW Series!

05.03.2016 – Every kid in the 1980s would probably own any action figure based from the popular show M.A.S.K. produced by the former Kenner toy company. The same toy company that manufactured the original Star Wars toys from the mid-1970s.

The series may not be as iconic as Star Wars, but it had a cult following of its own since it highly promoted a toy line and now IDW is reviving it in a new comicbook!

First Look: The Original Star Wars!

08.10.2013 – Star Wars Episode VII is still in production and that won’t happen until 2015. But Dark Horse Comics is not resting their laurels for you to wait but to look back at the beginning in what has become the biggest space opera this side of science fiction.

Dark Horse Comics has pulled all out the original screenplay of Star Wars from George Lucas’ archive what the famous space adventure should have been.

Event: Mico Suayan Signing at Comic X Hub!

07.04.2012 – This might have been around in the grapevine but we’re continue to spread the word about the upcoming comic book signing with Mico Suayan this Saturday at the Comic X Hub store as he signs the latest issues of Punisher #13 and 14.

Mico Suayan got recognized in the international scene when first worked on Moon Knight back in 2007. Then he took his talent to the next level with great detail on his work on Dead of Night featuring Werewolf by Night.

Then he left us picking up our jaw on his impressive work on Rage of Thor.

Marvel reveals Avengers Vs X-Men for 2012!

Next April, two of the greatest teams in the history of Marvel Comics will duke it out!


Announced in Marvel.com, what was teased as the Phoenix Force and the resurrection of Jean Grey has now been revealed as "Avengers vs X-Men", a 12-issue miniseries that will encompass the entire Marvel Universe! The Phoenix Force is returning to earth, and it will choose a new host that will have Earth's Mightiest Heroes clashing with The Uncanny Mutants.  With the writing team of Brian Michael Bendis, Jason Aaron, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker, and Matt Fraction, as well as the artistic talents of John Romita Jr., Olivier Coipel, and Adam Kubert, this is a sure hit series that will get true believers talking for some time to come upon its release next year! Spoiler Alert! The New Venom's Identity Revealed!


It's a few days to February already, and that means that the debut of the new Venom is at hand in the pages of "Amazing Spider-Man #654.1", part of Marvel's new initiative to introduce new jumping-in points and storylines for new and old readers alike! Called Marvel's "Next Big Thing", the identity of the new Venom has been shrouded in mystery, with fans guessing as to who would be the next guy filling in Eddie Brock and Mac Gargan's shoes to bond with the alien symbiote. That secret, however, has been "accidentally" revealed in an interview in Newsarama, and now that the cat has been let out of the bag, here's the new Lethal Protector's name... SPOILER MODE ON of course.
