Announced sometime last year and finally coming to fruition, the newest series' incarnation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is almost upon us. With that, Nickelodeon has released a new trailer to promote their upcoming new show based on the 80's Heroes-In-A-Half-Shell franchise. However, does it remain consistent with the original show's roots, or does it take a new spin at things? Find out in the trailer below!

A different take indeed with the interesting CGI animation work and "Booyakasha!" joke. Thankfully it seems to retain the same formula and basic origins as before, and no Michael Bay treatment to be found here either thank goodness (and that one got shelved recently). Coinciding with the release of new merchandise, the new TMNT Nickelodeon series is due for release this fall 2012.
