Robotars Custom Toy Show 2 Hops to the World!

07.27.2012 – The Robotars Custom Toy Show is the sequel to the 2010 launch of the original designer resin creation by JoMike Tejido.

There are two color versions of the resin figurine of Robot Tarsiers made which comes in blank and the standard appearance in brown.

It is an independently-produced resin figure and an urban art toy based on tarsiers described as tiny primates a threatened species found in the Philippines represented for the love of urban art.

The 6-inch resin sculpture figure features a hidden storage pod in its head and includes a collector’s card. Inspired by his trip to Tokyo in 2007 JoMike Tejido created Robotars ready to hop all over the world.

The exhibit featured 42 artists composed of graphic designers, painters and illustrators in Manila only. There are collective talents in the Philippines who contributed their inspiring talent with the likes of JeAA, Nico Deacosta, Sigmund Torre, Quiccs, Anjo Bolarda, Nemo, and this includes the members of "Ang InK" and "Pilipinas Street Plan". There are also special international artists from Singapore (curated by ToysRevil) and Rome (Street artist Bol23).

The program featured a live art from three talents which includes JoMike Tejido himself and an on-the-spot design a Robotars card of your own which the prizes are Robotars blind boxes and the limited-edition Robotars tees.
