Over at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Bros. has introduced fans to a generous offering of a teaser trailer, exclusive poster, and information on Zack Snyder's upcoming 2013 Superman reboot flick "Man Of Steel". The poster shows a full upper body shot of Henry Cavill as Superman, with shadow covering his face while the "S" emblem is predominantly seen. It's a solemn and silent look at the DC Comics' superhero, and one that reflects what is sure to be a more serious take on the character come next year.
As for what went down in the Comic-Con, Collider reports that Snyder took to the stage and addressed questions and inquiries on how he took up the role of director (getting on board the project after a pitch from current Batman film director Christopher Nolan) and what his interpretation of Superman will be in this film. The Watchmen and 300 noted that filming was finished, and post-production is already underway. He then announced that a teaser trailer for Man Of Steel will be attached to "The Dark Knight Rises" next week, but he also showed off a trailer to the fans in attendance at SDCC, which highlighted Clark Kent trying to grasp the concept of being a hero while reconciling his fears of the world not accepting his "gifts". Descriptions also note the appearance of Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Michael Shannon as General Zod. More can be read about what went down at the panel, including a bit about Snyder's thoughts on a Justice League film, via the source post at Collider!
Man Of Steel flies into theaters on June 14, 2013!
