| 08.26.2012 – Earlier today Mico Suayan just wrapped up his comic book signing for Comic Odyssey at the Fully Booked flagship store in Bonifacio High Street. It was like the same atmosphere when Stephen Segovia and Dennis Crisostomo had an autograph signing last month.
Mico promotes his latest work on the new Punisher series with number #14 starting from the previous issue that garnered interest in the local community. Being familiar with super natural characters like what he did with Werewolf by Night miniseries some years ago. |
You can call this a special signing event which is a prelude to the upcoming Singapore Toys, Games, and Comic Convention where Mico joins the ensemble Filipino talents that has Stephen, Carlo Pangulayan, Jason Paz, Mark Torres, Leinil Yu, and Gerry Alanguilan invading the Pop Culture Event in Asia.
This marks Mico’s third appearance at STGCC happening on September 1 and 2, 2012 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The excitement in the faces of the fans that supported the signing event can’t contain the anticipation when Sandy Sansolis (Comic Odyssey’s store proprietor) announced the raffle which gave away posters and the original page 18 art from issue #14 which Mico signed for the winner.
There were also previous comics on the table sold for anyone who would like Mico to sign as well as a limited edition special mini-print that came with issue #14 if you have reserved a copy prior to this event as it was definitely got sold out.
