09.12.2012 – The Manila International Book Fair opens its doors today and celebrating its 33rd year. The annual “book convention” is one of the most anticipated events this year in partnership with Book Development Association, Inc. (BDAP)
The biggest book fair in the country not only promotes to continue reading but also promotes education with tag line “Words Without Borders.” The event has a huge turn out last year with eighty five thousand people visiting over three hundred local and foreign exhibitors.

It has become a challenge annually especially as we come to the advent of the digital age and new ways of reading. MIBF also has exhibitors promoting learning tools through educational means using
LEGO,
Nanoblocks and other forms of construction toys.
