| 06.16.2013 – More than a week ago The Wolverine merchandise has started appearing in toy stores across Metro Manila. Just like the being trained by the Japanese Samurai from Japan the toys slowly appeared on display.
The upcoming film looks promising but “The Wolverine” merchandise particularly the 4 inch action figures where somewhat a little underwhelming which is similar to “The Amazing Spider-Man” that has lack in quality compared to when the X-Men Origins came out some five years ago. |
With the new merchandise from Hasbro started coming out one would definitely keep an eye out for the Marvel Legends figures that was revealed last February in the New York Toy Fair that features two versions of Cyclops (Astonishing X- Men and Phoenix Cyke from AvX), White Queen, Puck (from Alpha Flight), Sabretooth (New costume), and Wolverine in his current costume appearing in comic books.
The only interesting figure among the 4 inch line is the Silver Samurai though the articulation is quite not what you expected. But it’s the only one that really has quite the attention for those who just want to get this character in this scale.
As for the rest well get your son, nephew, or younger brother these cool role playing gear as the retractable claws are not exactly would poke an eye out but it would be fun to know there’s a little Wolverine dressing up to see the upcoming film which will be shown sometime in July.
