Age of Ultron #10 AI: Hank Pym Origins!

07.31.2013 – The aftermath of Age of Ultron left a huge repercussion in the Marvel Universe.

But in the end one man had the “sure win” to conquer the challenges even a collection of the best Avengers was not successful thwarting the threat.

That one man is Hank Pym the size changing hero known as Ant-Man. Marvel has dig deeper in the collection of characters that needed a spotlight and Hank Pym is the man they are grooming in the comic books.

Building his personality in time for the upcoming live action film post-Avengers: Age of Ultron it mus be something to look forward to see in the big screen. Hank Pym has gone through a lot becoming Ant-Man and taking other identities like Giant Man, Goliath and Yellow Jacket.

Over the years the “most win” that he’ll be remembered for is defeating Loki which gave birth to the formation of the Avengers. Becoming the founding member he was the unlikely favorite and the times where difficult too. Being the creator of Ultron who almost genocide humanity you got to give credit good or bad which in the end was the highlight of the Age of Ultron saga.

He faced even tougher times prior to his re-emergence after AU when he lost Janet Van Dyne aka The Wasp during Secret Invasion a few years ago. From there things where definitely going down for Dr. Hank Christopher Pym.

Dr. Pym the tempered top geniuses in the Marvel Universe clearly never got the spotlight that others are basking in the sea of moment.

In Age of Ultron 10 A.I. his origin was given clear re-telling of his beginnings as a boy genius who would change the way heroes are made. Marvel knows how make their characters grounded instead of being archetypal in nature.

Some are powerful but what makes them grounded is their human side that quite as intriguing as the next one. Stan Lee and Joe Kirby definitely have made their superheroes more interesting than you’ll ever imagine. Hank Pym aka Ant-Man and Janet Van Dyne aka Wasp where the lesser known characters when they founded the original Avenger with Hulk, Iron Man and Thor which back in the day was colorful as it was now with the live action films.

It was a definite win for Marvel bringing Ant-Man into the lime-light being relevant again as the way they made Bruce Banner less of a fugitive on the run into a the scientist that fans never seen for most of his Hulking life.

Surely there are greatness in each of these characters but Hank Pym for all his less stellar abilities was given the chance to shine once again and this issue is the genesis for those who wants to know the character more before you see him appear in the big screen. But it won’t be in the sequel “Avengers: Age of Ultron” let’s hope at least he gets a cameo because the next one is his solo movie to date.

If you can’t get enough of Hank Pym the next issue after this is Avengers A.I. #1 which is out already so pick this copy because things will get better as the Ant-Man deserve it!
