Jazel Kristin shares a collection of her works with infinite passion like her successful exhibit in Aubagne, France dubbed “Parallel Universe” her layers for Multiverse is a different perspective of diverging realities using the urban life as subject of images.
Certainly what catches your attention is the white box of multiple layers of single images of the same static pose divided in six transparent glasses. This part-documentary, part-performance is a collaboration with his father, photographer Carlito Villamarin. She used some of the images taken in some parts of France and the Philippines, then turning it into layers of supposed different worlds that blurs the lines between worlds.
