Three Things to see at TAGCOM 2015!

03.14.2015 – The annual “Toys and Hobbies Convention” generally known as TAGCOM is happening on March 21 to 22, 2015 at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall. From its first event in 2005 TAGCOM has grown to just another toy event.

This is one of the first major events happening before the summer begin and also this is their 9th year.


If you haven’t been to TAGCOM you might want to check out what they have for this year and here are some interesting scenes you’ll be seeing next weekend. Besides cosplay, karoke singing contests and other usual Filipino flavored activities in a convention scene there three things you might see in this year’s TAGCOM!



Raffle Prize Upon Entry

For every one entry you’ll have a chance to win a limited edition statue courtesy of Halimaw Scultures! The company has become synonymous with TAGCOM over the years and their giving away some impressive statues that you won’t see anywhere.



Musical Performances

It’s rare that you see a band or other musical acts perform in a toy event, but for TAGCOM this is no exception also to promote up and coming talents in the music industry in the indie scene. Rain Drop a group talented women will be one of those musical acts who will be at TAGCOM so if you’re into some R&B and pop might as well check out what they have on stage.



Comic Book Artists

There’s no event without the local comic book artists they are there being one of the highlights as guests for this year’s TAGCOM and the organizers has already revealed the list of talents who will be there to sign their works or to commission a sketch.



Special mention also that there will be local toy groups who will have a booth for this year’s TAGCOM and you might get to meet them there.
