| 02.09.2016 – Sometimes what makes a great art is driven by inspirations from popular culture. There are some great art out there inspired by animation, movies, and comicbooks where they get translated by other artists not associated in this medium.
Most of their work would give you a different perspective about a pop culture character entirely different from perspective. It’s where Egg Fiasco and JJ “Exld” Zamoranos bring a different look at these icons in their two-man exhibit show dubbed “Second Skin” at the Secret Fresh Gallery B where all thing popular culture is here. |
The collaboration of these two talented street artists bring about some of the popular characters from Star Wars, Robocop, and even Japanese Sentai icons like Kamen Rider where both Egg and JJ give them a fresh look you have not seen them before. Their visual perspective on each of the characters from these properties takes a whole new meaning to most who have known them.
It’s a refreshing look how a Stormtrooper, Darth Maul and Boba Fett would look like the same way Kamen Rider and Robocop is presented in these paintings. If you haven’t made the visit at Secret Fresh here are some images below:

There’s one more bonus not related to the artworks is Egg Fiasco’s very first art toy a collaboration he has made with fellow artist Quiccs of Hidden Fortress Manila that is also available at the Secret Fresh gallery.
