Monde Nissin x Uniqlo LifeWear Launch!

06.29.2016 - If you’re a nerd into collecting and runs out of funds, the most time you spend on food ends with a bowl of ramen. It’s a staple for someone having a hobby and who tries to survive with having ramen.

Well why not only eat a bowl when you can wear it too? Monde Nissin and Uniqlo collaborate to produce t-shirts carrying the distinctive designs of iconic Filipino brand, Lucky Me!, and the country’s favorite cookie sandwich, Bingo.

Yes, for most Filipinos these beloved brands have been a staple in the local culture. Most of those who spend their hard earned Philippine peso end up trying to survive the following month by eating a bowl of ‘Lucky Me!’ and a pack of ‘Bingo’ cookie sandwich which now can be represented in fashion with Uniqlo’s LifeWear shirts.

There are four new designs released earlier today joining the ever growing Southeast Asian Corporate Collaboration that featured iconic brands from the Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Monde Nissin’s brand, Lucky Me!, and Bingo cookie sandwich features two t-shirt designs each that invoke the brands identity that was on display at Uniqlo:

The leading instant noodle brand in the country, Lucky Me! has been a staple in every Filipino pantry with its wide array of products that are hinged on local flavors sure to appeal to the Filipino taste. The launch of this collaboration coincides with the recent release of the Kantar Brand Footprint Report, with Lucky Me! once again topping the list of fast moving consumer good brands in the Philippines in 2015. Meanwhile, as a catalyst of daily sweet connections, Bingo Cookie Sandwich continues to captivate consumers, especially today’s teens, with its creamy fillings spread between melt-in-your-mouth chocolate cookies, and its distinctively “kilig” commercials.

The limited edition collection will be available in all Uniqlo stores nationwide at PhP 590.00 pesos each which is available now sine June 27, 2016. The shirts will also be available in Uniqlo stores in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
