|07.30.2016 - It’s been a while since “The LEGO® Batman Movie” has been revealed and more solely focused on Bruce Wayne’s alter ego. But this time at Comic-Con Warner Animation Group teases more characters.
In this footage Michael Cera’s Robin is revealed and Alfred as voiced Ralph Fiennes shares some life lessons too.
While the footage is relatively did not show any speaking lines to Zach Galifianakis in voicing The Joker there was already images that where reveal prior to the release of the footage exclusively for Comic-Con.
This gives you an idea how this spins off from “The LEGO® Movie” not solely focused on Batman as you can see in this clip below:
One of the few scenes in this footage is Alfred not only his butler but having an identity of a literal father figure to Bruce Wayne, who has access to lock the bat computer from Batman himself.
A Wild Robin
Some say Micahel Cera’s Robin is the male version of Carrie Kelley (from The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller) with a bit childish innocence. This reveals how Robin got his costumer from a line of batsuits.
Life Doesn’t Give You Seatbelts
Robin is excited after finding out Bruce Wayne lives in Batman’s attic and wanting to become a superhero too. The best part of this footage is Batman imparting life lessons that doesn’t make any sense in a hilarious way.
Last words in passwords now reveal how to get in the batcave to the tune of Adam West’s classic Batman theme.
“The LEGO® Batman Movie” set for release in cinemas on February 10, 2017 from the same producers of “The LEGO® Movie” and Warner Bros Animation Group!
