Happy Meal 2019 | Discovery #Mindblown Bots

03.08.2019 – Happy Meal toys has been a diverse kind of collectibles and kids play things that. Most of the toys released are well known licensed toy brands or having tie-up to movies, animated TV series, or videogames.

Besides toys there are books Roan Dahl’s collection has been out in Australia and some parts of Europe possibly some would rather get the toys than books, and then there toys that are educational that McDonald’s tie-up with Discovery Networks would turn out to be something that would depend of the reception of which country it is going to be like these robots!

Discovery #Mindblown that features these STEM robots is about more of educating kids through each individual abilities that it shares that is also the toys for Happy Meal in Asia this March 2019. These robots has started being offered by McDonald’s in Singapore and now the Philippines with eight to collect that includes educational bio cards similar to how Pokemon toys where released in Australia in September 2017 having the same size cards based from the famous card game.

But the ones included on the Discovery #Mindblown robots explains each their abilities while at the back gives facts and interesting trivia. The robots have a uniformed color with each personality having color accents and different poses that includes facial expressions to define their abilities.

There are eight robots that tell the story and teach kids why these individual robots have different functions that can be compared to how humans have the same abilities too. Interesting enough this set of toys for this month’s Happy Meal is more of giving you each interesting ideas than telling you to collect them all. There are interesting robots and there also some that don’t really stand out and here are two examples why they are worth getting from the set.

Balance Bot

Out of the eight toys from “Discovery #Mindblown” Robot set you got this “Balance Bot” that teaches you how to balance by standing or doing some unique poses. You can differentiate this robot from the rest having multi-colors on each joint having purple, green, red and blue.

The arms and feet are flat that you let it do some cool poses like a hand stand or better yet the flat edge design on this bot can let it do a head stand. It might be the most articulated bot in the bunch but still doesn’t have ‘head articulation’ for it to face left or right or even look up or down.

The Discovery logo on this Bot’s chest spins down to the gravity whenever you pose him standing, running or the familiar hand stand stunt. It’s the center of the gravity whenever you make this robot pose the Discovery logo correct itself.

Prism Bot

If the Balance Bot has the joints to make it move or do some action poses this one has literally have zero articulation. It is just standing straight up but you’ll notice the empty glass face you can see through the back of this robot’s head because you have to look from it back to get an idea what the ability has something to do with its name.

It has a prism plastic glass that able you to see rainbow colors at the same time distorts your vision of what you see from the bag of its head. Interesting gimmick for something that doesn’t have any articulation like a statue that the other features is that defines this robot is the translucent blue on the main parts of its body.

They are definitely STEM Educational robots that each one of them is named with what ability or function they have. Out of the eight these two stands out and you don’t need to collect all of them just by seeing how their functions can define each one of them. They are not only toys for the boys even girls can learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics that is STEM to inspire them in pursuing these skills with these robots.

Entirely, they are cool but if you’re not into completing a set just get the ones that are interesting as any kid would pick two or four that give the reason that they are more of an educational toy than a collectible overall that are now available for the month so don’t miss out the one you like!
