Happy Meal 40th | 3 Things You Should Know

11.23.2019 – The Happy Meal toys that celebrate the 40-year legacy of the brand has finally been released simultaneously in the Asian region that includes Southeast Asia and Australasia that previously indicated what the confirmed toys are and those are exclusively available in selected territories.

The excitement of a “surprise” toy from Happy Meal takes you back from the days that these toys are not displayed behind a glass. For the sake of nostalgia McDonald’s did not put any toys on display bring back the “thrill of the hunt” that was met with some backlash from parents and collectors that forgotten what used to be fun.

Happy Meal | Facts About the Anniversary Toys

11.14.2019 – The Happy Meal is celebrating 40 years and with that there were 17 retro-toys producing some of the best lines that were popular among kids and adults that were available for the North American region. There were excitement and heavy anticipation that the same toys would be available in other countries.

The announcement for this would include 90 countries participating across the planet. Of course, Southeast Asia and Australasia in general would considered included in the list and news is that it was already sold out in some parts of the US.

There haven’t been announcements when it will be available, but here are some interesting facts…

Happy Meal Spotlight | Monster Jam 2019

10.29.2019 – This month’s features Happy Meal in the Philippines are Monster Jam and the Shopkins Cutie Cars. The new set of toys became available in Southeast Asia during the succeeding release in the second week of October 2019, but in the Philippines it was already available since 18 October 2019.

Although for most who noticed that McDonald’s just rehashed Monster Jam from 2018’s series of toys you’d be surprised that they’re entirely different. For those who missed out the previous release this is their chance at getting a new set for their collection that’s where this toy review gives a spotlight why it’s a new Monster Jam!

Happy Meal 2019 | Monster Jam & Shopkins Cutie Cars

10.19.2019 – In case you haven’t been to McDonald’s lately there’s a new set of toys. The news on what will be the next toys has been seen through the announcements from McDonald’s Australia and Hong Kong. Although both counties are not part of Southeast Asia they have the same toys as what is currently offered now.

The latest Happy Meal toys are Monster Jam and Shopkins Cutie Cars, which started availability in the Philippines yesterday and Singapore has started offering it since 17 October 2019. The rest of the region and this is not the first time the toys have been offered before...

Happy Meal 2019 | TF Cyberverse & My Little Pony

09.27.2019 – For those who are not updated, and not tracking what’s new in the toy meal culture world the latest Happy Meal for McDonald’s in Southeast Asia features Transformers Cyberverse and My Little Pony. Two of Hasbro’s brands have been synonymous with McDonald’s toys that every year there’s a new set released.

The latest toys were released last Friday 20 September 2019 and usually the promo runs for the next twenty eight days. Now this is not the first time the latest series from the Transformers brand with the current animated series titled “Transformers Cyberverse” as this is the second iteration with first released in 2018.

Happy Meal 2019 | Super Mario All-Stars

08.26.2019 – In case you haven’t been dining it at your local McDonald’s better you do that when you pass by. Like every latest Happy Meal toy there’s significance for the reason why this is the toy for the month. Well, if you’re keen to find out its Super Mario that has been the toys for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

The latest Happy Meal Toys follows up to the last Super Mario set of collectibles that featured mini-games released for Southeast Asia in July 2018. This new set comes with another new set of minigames to thrill the young ones and die-hard Nintendo fans that played the games!

04.03.2019 – Every time a new set of Happy Meal toy is a mad scramble to their nearest store. But it all depends on the country that release them as you all know some parts of Asia they don’t release an entire set, but you have to wait a specific day of the week for its feature toy like in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

But in the Philippines it’s a different story once they release the toys most of them get a set immediately within the day. It is also depending on the popularity which toy that might be. For April 2019, its Barbie and Hot Wheels as the latest that has been a regular for McDonald’s Happy Meal.

03.08.2019 – Happy Meal toys has been a diverse kind of collectibles and kids play things that. Most of the toys released are well known licensed toy brands or having tie-up to movies, animated TV series, or videogames.

Besides toys there are books Roan Dahl’s collection has been out in Australia and some parts of Europe possibly some would rather get the toys than books, and then there toys that are educational that McDonald’s tie-up with Discovery Networks would turn out to be something that would depend of the reception of which country it is going to be like these robots!

Happy Meal 2019 | The LEGO® Movie 2!

02.09.2019 – McDonald’s latest toys for February 2019 is from The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, which is ahead of the film's release date that has been rumored as the next toys for the Philippines.

The upcoming sequel to the 2014 hit brings back your favourite characters Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, Benny the Spaceman, and Batman.

The sighting of these new toys has been the news for the past few weeks in other countries revealing more than just eight characters that are set to be available for the Asian region. There’s already reviews found on YouTube revealing the toys.
