Playmo Events | Rustan's Makati

05.10.2019 – If you’re into Playmobil toys or its ‘Playmo Figure’ collection then you might have been actively checking out the in-store events in Manila. Recently, they have announced ‘pocket events’ with the most recent one starting on May 3 up to 12, 2019 at Rustan’s Department Store in Makati City. This might be a bit of late news as this would be also considered as a sighting for Playmobil. The most recent sets and latest Playmo Figures Series 14 are just the icing on the surface, but this mini event must be the one you should see!

At the 3rd level of Rustan’s Department store towards the far end if you’re coming from the lower ground you’ll probably won’t miss the display set up. Three assigned staff members are there to assist parents with kids or anyone into the Playmobil brand.

This is not the first time a new set-up has become part of the event aside from the ‘Buy One Get an Exclusive Playmo Figure’ promo, but also a scheduled meet and greet with the Playmo Mascots has become part of the ‘pocket event’ inside the store.

What you’ll find aside from the displayed sets and blind pack Playmo Figures are the playsets for kids to have the chance at “Free Play.” There are also small tables, where kids can sit in and get to pick at the same time choose parts and accessories for what will become their customized Playmo Figure.

Although it is an interesting concept there are only a few parts to choose from, but still works a charm for kids to have their first ever Playmo Figure. There’s an instruction for them to follow that was printed by the staff with their assistance too. It is interesting to add this play value feature for children to create their own characters from the parts provided in that set-up.

Not just collecting the Playmo Figures it gives an idea for adult collectors who have started interest investing for the Playmobil brand. Because the blind packs has been the key feature that continues to make Playmobil relevant.



Hamley’s Playmobil Event

If you’re going to miss out this event there’s still one more event that is also happening at Hamley’s Central Square until the end of May 2019. It has the same concept and set-up, where there’s a meet and greet with the mascots, “Free Play” displays, and the “Build-A-Playm Figure.”
