| 09.18.2019 – There are comic-cons or festivals, but there never was an event that really catered to comic book authors, creators, or illustrators. There was one that catered to the grassroots that promoted the country’s local community, which revived the interest of self-published work.
But an event that centered on talented local artists doing work for international publication? There’s League Con, that suddenly announced an ambitious event to gather up the talents in one place and have cosplay for good measure. |
The announcement of League Con was surprising news that immediately caught fire unwrapping the major guests and partners in bringing this event that was organized by the DC Comics Café. It sure is going to be an event to be part of as it is going to be held at the Fashion Hall in SM Megamall.
There will be major activities that will be happening this weekend. It will certainly packed with the gathering, not only about the announced guest but other surprises too that surely will culminate at the event’s venue.
Scheduled Activities
There will be Panels, Workshops, and Signings by the major guests is surely going to happen in the days of League Con. If you got the comicbooks that they worked on they’ll be able to sign it. There will be workshops to be hosted by RJ Ledesma with the Creator Panel and Content Creation through Cosplay.
Exhibits and Artist Alley
There will be displays of collectibles, retailers, and artist alley for you to go around. This event certainly will fill your weekend as well as give you something to look forward to with your friends and family.
Cosplay Contests
For those who are passionate to dress up this part of League Con might be for you with the Cosplay contest certainly an attraction that brings fans to this event. It will be judged by Cosplay personalities that they announced to grace the event and surely you’ll not miss out!
