Vinyl On Vinyl | TRANSIT.

02.16.2016 – The urban life in the Philippines has produced a place re-imagined as a canvass of artful expressions. Though limited in its space to bring forth that expression Vinyl On Vinyl provided the alternative in miniature trains similar to the subway trains in Chicago or New York.

But these are based from the elevated trains or known as the LRT and MRT in the Philippines that has become part of the culture re-created in small scale artfully repainted in miniature form of graffiti and mural paintings by a talented group.


A portion of the art gallery was re-created into the interiors of the elevated trains that travel along Taft Avenue, EDSA, and Aurora Boulevard. Then they produced miniature versions of the three trains that travel along these main railways that where repainted by graffiti, mural, and visual artists that express their vision what could be an artful creation that define the art show dubbed “TRANSIT.”

The miniature train cars are limited release and its one of one per artist creation and if you missed the launch of TRANSIT see some of the images below:
