04.23.2016 – Ren Quinio lives in a realm of a place where his imagination exists as its source of inspiration. He has shared this place in his previous solo shows. For “Pie in the Sky” the presentations is more grounded and calm within that its wildest dreams. In the small gallery section of Vinyl on Vinyl, there are six art pieces that revolve around his latest solo show.

NOVA | CHILL x NEMO: Arbitrary!

02.22.2016 – Sometimes the best creations can be made not by one but two minds that bring out the best imagination through art. This is evident with street and visual artist collaboration with Chill and Nemo for their two-man show dubbed “Arbitrary.” This is probably their first collaboration together at the NOVA Gallery Manila, where the art show was launched. It features the best of both artists’ creations as well as a single art that features their style mash up of how it would look together.

02.16.2016 – The urban life in the Philippines has produced a place re-imagined as a canvass of artful expressions. Though limited in its space to bring forth that expression Vinyl On Vinyl provided the alternative in miniature trains similar to the subway trains in Chicago or New York. But these are based from the elevated trains or known as the LRT and MRT in the Philippines that has become part of the culture re-created in small scale artfully repainted in miniature form of graffiti and mural paintings by a talented group.

The Indonesian born talent still have the strokes and the childish creativity that continues to evolve. 01.22.2016 – Apol Sta. Maria is an accomplished visual artist and comicbook illustrator. He’s been well-documented and known in the independent scene that those who have heard his work like ‘Alamat ng Pangit’ (Legend of the Ugly) have already well accustomed to his creations. His work as a visual artist expands further not limiting to his popularly known created vision. Apol certainly won’t just sit still and be stuck in a routine he evolves further.

Secret Fresh + SM Mall of Asia: Bototoy Art Gallery!

06.09.2014 – Bototoy gallery has been up on exhibit at the SM Mall of Asia’s main mall since the start of the month, but the launch event will be on June 11th at 3PM. Even though the gallery has been there for the past eight days it’s already getting quite an attention to the usual mall visiting crowd. This is actually a first for Bototoy to be seen in the mainstream spotlight after having an official launch at Secret Fresh almost two years ago. The current exhibit is more combination of new and old sharing the various customs done by local graphic artist.”

7 Eye Catching Renditions of Vader Boy!

05.05.2014 – Vader Boy is the latest art toy launched by Imagine Nation Studios and Secret Fresh. Inspired of being huge Star Wars fans and celebrating the global day ‘May the Fourth Be with You’ is just the right timing to be one with the force. The launch is just the second time between Secret Fresh and INS which also brought the popular Trooper Boy last December 2013. Vader Boy certainly was a success with the featured artists sharing their dedication in customizing the Darth Lord of the Sith.

12.13.2013 – Bandung, Indonesian-based artist Arkiv Vilmansa returns to Vinyl on Vinyl for his fourth solo exhibit in the Philippines. The ever talented Arkiv came from “Out of Nothing” shared you his “Relics” and it was “All in the Mind” for the past since 2010. Now he comes back to share “Step in My World” his latest work and fourth solo show for Vinyl on Vinyl. The Chicken Joy loving artist couldn’t get enough with Jollibee, and continue to inspire others with his ever evolving vibrant creations that screams rainbow!

Sights & Highlights: Defender of Earth Exhibit!

06.11.2013 – The week is owned by Man of Steel with promotions from Penshoppe a retail clothing store and SM Mall of Asia which launched exclusive licensed shirts as well as having a special exhibit dubbed “Defender of Earth.” The launch of the events was held last June 8, 2013 the previous Saturday which is an open event with no admission. The exhibit features Superman from then and now including the current Man of Steel.

Iron Man: A Brick-Xhibit at Gateway Mall

04.23.2013 – The Iron Man 3 phenomenon has landed in the Philippines as the post-Avengers film will be shown on the 24th of April in all major cinemas nationwide. With those promotions of merchandise and anything Iron Man has been released locally. The local group of passionate LEGO builders team-up with Gateway Mall to bring you this one-of-a kind event that shows you dedidcation to anything popular culture related to the famous construction to brand.
