POST Gallery | PSP X Anniversary

09.11.2016 – The street art community has never been this known if not for its creative way promoting the culture like the Pilipinas Street Plan can accomplish.

For ten years they have been cultivating talent through grass roots and inspiring others. The journey continues with their tenth anniversary celebration at the POST gallery in Cubao X that began with Pablo gallery early in July of this year.

Walkway Visions: Elevated Street Art!

06.01.2014 – Walkways are rare routes you’ll find in the city, and the only place you can see it is in the back streets of Makati Central Business District. It’s those interconnecting elevated pathways that stretch along Legazpi Street.

The elevated walkways back then was slowly being built connecting buildings and car parks into one route. These days several establishments started to open along the way and lights are no longer dim, which give you a nice view of the elevated street as an alternative route instead of taking the usual walk along Ayala Avenue…

Secret Fresh at the World BEX 2014!

03.16.2014 – Street art invades the 19th World Building Expo at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The live art was conducted by Secret Fresh and its talented graffiti artists during the first day of the event last March 12, 2014.

The live art featured six artists who also have their works featured at Secret Fresh. The art works where work-in-progress during the first day. The finish product is as stunning as its presentation and this is the second time Secret Fresh has a booth at World BEX…

Secret Fresh x Jazel Kristin: Multiverse!

02.10.2014 - Some theorist say we live in a Multiverse where each of us lived a different life. The ones we hope to experience it are happening in another place or time. Its like in the stories DC Comics had in the 1980s which is the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

In Jazel Kristin’s first gallery with Secret Fresh she shares her own perspective what is her Multiverse. The launch featured her works of photo collage of the same subject multiplied in an artistic pattern like viewing a kaleidoscope not needing a scope…

Secret Fresh Presents: Scribe!

12.02.2013 – It’s rare that you see something new and different that’s very an original concept in “Scribe.” The first ever solos who by Joy Mallari for Secret Fresh launched a new art toy and featured a rare piece of her creation.

Joy Mallari has been featured in art galleries before with her signature doll eyed creations. Her latest art toy is an exclusive from Secret Fresh which produced 55 standard versions and 10 custom editions that almost sold out prior to the launch.

11.09.2013 – When you talk about graffiti before it was known for random form of vandalism. But these days it’s more diverse with some getting into street art. In countries like Korea they have the Wall Painting Village located at Dongpirang province of Tongyeong city.

It’s a place where they rehabilitated fill of street art that changed a small village into a place of great culture.

Sights & Highlights: JP Cuison's Misplaced!

10.10.2013 – JP Cuison has worn many hats as a “Komiks” artist, animator, and member of a former band with Kiko Machine, Gorgoro Henson’s voice, and the guy who created Filipino pop culture posters under his Gigzilla production.

He’s done it all and remains grounded to his roots and never forget his beginnings as a struggling artist. JP Cuison has a mini-art exhibit which is “Misplaced” and you might not have figured it out that Apol Sta. Maria and Mannix Abrera was behind this idea but you’ve come to the right place.

Crossing Mediums from "Komiks" to Pop Art.

10.06.2013 – The resurgence of Philippine “komiks” is undeniable and continues to capture inspiration that breeds new talents. In this growing community comic books is still considered a child’s reading material.

But for the middle class it’s a potential marketing vehicle for something big. In reality it’s tough to break into the comics industry unless you have the right connections which have the right people to guide you to land in a career like well-known artists have thread.

Sights & Highlights: BLACK art launch at Secret Fresh!

08.26.2013 – The Black art gallery featured five talented urban lifestyle artists from Kiko Escora, Archie "CHICHI MONSTER" Geotina, Noli "13LuckyMonkey" Coronado, Ali Alejandro and Steve Tirona. The event was supported with great music by Major Chie, Caliph 8 (Rigor Mortiz), and Out of Scratch.

The launch was simple clean cut but with an impact that definitely will find you appreciate how these five gentlemen push their limit in bringing their talent to the next level as presented by Secret Fresh.

Sights & Highlights: End of the World Doodle!

12.22.2012 – Maf Shareen aka Wanton Doodle best known for random creations who held a talk at Vinyl on Vinyl last night invited local doodlers to have a special collaboration which was dubbed the “art jam” of doodle of random coolness.

Doodling is a random art form of drawings that set WeeWillDoodle as wells other local doodlers that you might see their works in the streets or in some ad by a corporate company. His stay in Manila was extended due to another artists and this is his first trip to the country.

STGCC 2012: First Day Highlights at a Glance!

09.01.2012 – Greeting the start of September is the opening day for the Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention.

The registration area was open for two different queues the standard and VIP pass. Upon entering the convention hall the crowd is already heading to the booths with collectibles.

The first artists to be featured in the Walk of Fame were Gabby Tiongson, Wendy Chew, and The Beast Brothers.

08.31.2012 – Media Preview earlier has given as glimpse of what to expect during the weekend for the Singapore Toy, Game, and Comic Convention.

But there where inquiries about the set up at the convention floor and we have hope to share it with you.

But Reed Expo and Ni9mer only allowed booth exhibitors to enter the premises but our friends at Komikon will reveal exclusives photos soon.

Creature Feature: JP Cuison's Mighty-T?!

07.03.2012 – Sometime in 2007 a guy named JP Cuison was selling his works at the UP Bahay ng Alumni during Komikon. He was selling DVD copies of his independent animation of Captain Barangay Captain!



This 2-disc DVD edition featured collaboration between Cuison and Kiko Machine Komix’s Manix Abrera where his art work was animated for this rare modern independent piece of Filipino Pop Culture nostalgia. There’s one character that had quite a naughty but interesting name parodied after Marvel’s Mighty Thor by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Robotars 2 Custom Toy Show This July 2012!

06.19.2012 – Catch JoMike Tejido in his Live Art collaboration with Anjo Bolarda and Quiccs Maiquez in the sequel last year’s Custom Toy Show for Robotars! This time it’s a three way live art featuring the original Filipino creation by JoMike Tejido known for his innovative creation on Foldabots!



Robotars are resin made figure which started as a paper craft toy in 2008. During its toy launch he collaborated with 10 visual artists who customized their own Robotars who shown their various styles in the field of illustration design and painting.

Art Tuesdays with Angry Woebots at Vinyl on Vinyl!

06.18.2012 – Angry Woebots who’s based in Hawaii has come back to Manila. He’s back to do a special Art Talk on Vinyl on Vinyl’s “Art Tuesdays. Known as Aaron Woes Martin have previously had an exhibit alongside Dee Jae Pa’Este last year who also travels the world being around New York to Japan and now the Philippines.

Both illustrators have successfully had their works on exhibit at Vinyl on Vinyl located at The Collective in Malugay Street, Makati City. The talented and humble Angry Woebots shares his passion for the life in food, art & just being the average guy in the neighborhood.

Disney Resorts Opens WonderGround Gallery!

06.11.2012 – Last Saturday our good friend and US correspondent from the Bay Area shares his adventures at the Disney Resorts earlier today.

This past weekend Disney Resorts opened its doors to the WonderGround Gallery featuring a collective of illustrators and artists who showcased their creations.

The grand opening happened last Saturday at the new gallery will also pay tribute to the Vinylmation 95 plaform featuring Lightning McQueen and six artists commissioned to create one-of-a-kind pieces utilizing the new platform.

The Beast Brothers at STGCC 2012!

06.10.2012 – The Beast Brothers will be one of the honorary guests in this year’s Singapore Toys, Games and Comics Convention which will be held in the new venue at the Sands Expo 1 in Marina Bay Sands on September 1 and 2, 2012.

The Mexican native brothers have made a name for themselves in the urban vinyl community and has collaborated works with well known artists like Huck Gee for their Skullendario Azteca series.

The siblings Carlos & Ernesto East have gone to make great illustrations, paintings and sculptures in their home in Mexico City.

The Visual Music Carnival Rocks for a Cause!

05.03.2012 – The Visual Music Carnival is not only about music performances by an ensemble of Filipino talents. The event also has skilled skater boarders and a group of people who masquerade as their favorite characters known in the pop culture community.

The VMC was organized to promote to raise funds and awareness for cause that would break the barriers of speech for the deaf. We’re talking about a break through tool is set to integrate modern technology in helping the hearing-impaired live their already challenged lives with less difficulty.

"Out of Nothing" Exhibit at Vinyl on Vinyl!

12.07.2010 - The weekend here in the Philippines is very much clustered with events happening in the morning with the TS118 Super Size Outdoor Diorama, and at the evening with the exhibit of Indonesian artist Arkiv Vilmansa.

The talented illustrator, painter, and known for designing cartoon-like figures will be having an exhibit at the Vinyl on Vinyl this Saturday of December 11, 2010.

Arkiv Vilmansa has been doing this since 2005 shortly after finishing his Bachelor degree in Architecture.

Arkiv's first debut with vinyl figurine was called Arkiv Instant.
