Huck Gee x Christian Tamondong: PU-CHAA Toy Launch!

06.02.2012 – Huck Gee x Christian Tamondong has launched a toy from Secret Fresh at the Ronac Art Center dubbed “PU-CHAA” which was only fifty pieces made exclusively.

The toy is a first collaboration between UK native Huck Gee who is now based in San Francisco USA and illustrator/graphic Christian Tamondong who grew up in Imus Cavite.

The launch also held with autograph signings from Huck Gee his second time to visit the Philippines.

The toy itself is a unique work of art between two greats who made a name for themselves in the Urban Street Art community.

Christian Tamondong is no stranger when he first launched his toy also from Secret Fresh last year. Native from Imus Cavite is a multi-awarded pop artist with his signature whimsical and happy creations is back again to bring one half of PU-CHAA to life. The other is no need for introductions as Huck Gee from United Kingdom who is currently based in San Francisco USA is very much known for his contemporary works making known for his “Shullhead” character and “Goldlife” art creations.

In designing the creation of the toy includes the signature skull Huck Gee design mashing up with the happy carefree smiling characters of Christian Tamondong certainly works well and giving birth to PU-CHAA a baby angel with a skull mask swimming on a tea cup made of solid resin.

Fifty of the PU-CHAA toy made was also signed by both artists and you can see behind the huge figure. Huck Gee signs at the back of the Baby Angel’s head while Christian Tamondong doodles with five different signatures at the lower back part of the tea cup.

This awesome collaboration will certainly give collectors and passionate fans of Pop Art something to have in their toy shelves. For more details on how much is this internationally check out this list of pricing from Secret Fresh.

Secret Fresh is located at the ground floor of the Ronac Art Center in Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan, Philippines.
