It is the mother of all conventions that inspired other conventions all over the world. A multi-genre of interest from toys, comics, videogames, movies and everything in-between. To kids to the parental guidance they got it all.
If you haven't heard of have known Comic-Con, and you only know Japanese pop culture then your a poser pretending to be a fan. It has been a staple in the pop culture minds of geeks since it was first held in 1970.
Those humble beginnings had spawned a lot more conventions, but this one is the top hit every year. This is where you see exclusive toys, out of this world Cosplayers, and up & coming movies where you haven't seen before. Clearly it is the mecha of every fandom you could have imagine. Every aspect of pop culture has been captured and promoted in what we consider the biggest show on Earth.
You don't want to get broke in this event as it covers four days of madness and fun. Every year its the best show you'll ever go to. Forget those conventions you haven't able to attend this is THE EVENT you should not miss!
It culminates with Preview Night the most important event that you should never miss as this is where it all began before you line up on DAY ONE.
Our man Mach Diesel of SMU Toys has been a staple of the Comic-Con Legend. In fact he has been a visitor since the 1990s, and he will be there again for this year thanks to his good friend Juan Lecaros. He will show you again why this man is such a passionate GeekMatic!
If you lived in a cave and haven't watch his greatness in last year's SDCC 2009 maybe I should not spoil you now...
So if you are still in shock that you haven't heard of the great Mach Diesel, who is really a humble guy calling himself Small Fry now THAT IS AWESOME.
