06.19.2011 - The closing day of the 10th Philippine Toys, Hobbies, & Collectibles Convention aka (Toy Con) has the most attendance earlier today.

The last day would be considered the biggest crowd to packed all three Megatrade Halls now that cosplay groups have come to Toy Con.

So far the attendance from yesterday was more than last year. This annual event has become bigger than ever with its flair and the best to come out in the oldest convention in Asia.

The movers and shakers of the Philippine Pop Culture community is here. The entertainment extravagant was the Cosplay Nation a movie being shot on its first leg in the Philippines and the next one will be in the upcoming San Diego Comic Convention.

Toy Con won't be without the panel discussions featuring some of the toy collectors in the online community.

There where also band performances by groups who are passionate into Japanese Pop and Korean Pop. There where also contest for Best Diorama and Toy Photography doubled Toy Clicks that has been running since 2007.

So far this year since 2009 Transformers Philippines has not organized the High Speed Transforming Contest due to the packed programs. Originally they planned to have it this year, but the event happening on both Toy Con and Cosplay Nation stage it won't happen anytime.

The Transformers Trivia contest was held early in the morning hosted Collectibles Unlimited Toy Con co-organizer Cholo Manlillin while a TF Custom tutorial was happening on stage.

The dealer area is still packed as usual with the happening and dropping of prices, since its Closing Day which really was the most interesting time for anyone who really wanted a last minute shopping.

The Gallery area where the invited Toy Groups who had their own displays has a lot of visitors. Yesterday well known personalities had visited that particular area.

Toy Soldier 118's diorama has been the main attraction in that area. So far its the most visible piece of display that has quite an interaction to everyone's delight.

Justice PH the newly formed cosplay group was present, and getting aa lot of fan appreciation from the day they suit up to the Cosplay Nation introduction. They also visited the DC Comics Licensing Event at the basement level of SM Megamall near the area where the old skating rink used to be.

All the pageantry of cosplayers shapes and sizes have been in full force. The event was spectacular in every sense of a word. For Toy Con 2011 this one was a celebration of mixed cultures, and inspiration for all geeks out there that its okay to be one.

Wait until Toy con 2012 arrives as the event marks its actual anniversary that began on October 2002. The biggest convention in the Philippines has conquered as all until next year perhaps!
