09.02.2012 – The last day of Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) was a memorable one with the full roster of Filipino guests led by Komikon Inc. with Gerry Alanguilan, Dr. Carlo San Juan, and 8-Bit Media collaborating with Vinyl on Vinyl.
STGCC was spectacular in bringing the East and West culture mash up at the Marina Bay Sands from the Media Preview day to the day it closed its doors everyone went home smiling enjoying the biggest convention weekend. |
This is one event you should not miss next year as there will be bigger happenings. The closing night was definitely the best part where Tristan Eaton’s art was being raffled off to convention visitors where they took home the paintings he made during Media Preview and the fun did not stop.
The free drinks served by Fanta and Nestle didn’t stop until they ran out of sodas as wells as hot water to keep the serving. The Komikon Inc. had so much fun with the gang having experience their first STGCC. It was one of these rare moments you’ll see they had a “fun” but stressful adventure.
Over at the 8-Bit | Vinyl on Vinyl booth the artists continue doing commission sketch art with Mark Torres and Mark Brooks exchanging works while a Punisher and Bane cosplayer try to start a humorous commotion by doing an arm wrestling session.
The last day definitely not the end as most of the team will be enjoying the rest of Singapore and if you missed hanging out with these wonderful people then you must take a look at these images caught during closing night…
