X-Men Days of Future Past Fan Posters!

05.01.2013 – For anyone who has been following the X-Men titles since its reboot for Marvel NOW fans has been also delighted and excited to hear about the upcoming X-Men: Days Future Past which is still currently filing in Montreal Canada.

Recent announcement and behind the scenes image of Halle Berry as Storm with that interesting hair piece has been the update from director Bryan Singer’s twitter. It’s no longer a secret that film is getting some follow up giving the fans what they wanted.

There was a fan tribute art that was made for the three major characters featuring James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier/Professor X. Followed by Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellan’s Erik Lensherr/Magneto. Then you got Hugh Jackman’s Logan/Wolverine taking the center stage.

The fan art posters where done by Mark Kelly who maintains an art website known as Kelly’s Eye who is also goes by the name Woobly in the Superherohype forums where these pieces where shared.

The premise of the film is based from Marvel Comics’ 1981 two issue story arc published in Uncanny X-Men written by Chris Claremont with art by John Byrne and Terry Austen.

As the synopsis of the movie as follows “The storyline alternates between present day, in which the X-Men fight Mystique’s Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and a future timeline caused by the X-Men’s failure to prevent the Brotherhood from assassinating Senator Robert Kelly. In this future universe, Sentinels rule the United States, and mutants live in internment camps. The present-day X-Men are forewarned of the possible future by a future version of their teammate Kitty Pryde, whose mind traveled back in time and possessed her younger self to warn the X-Men. She succeeds in her mission and returns to the future, but despite her success, the future timeline still exists as an alternative timeline rather than as the actual future.

X-Men Days Future Past is scheduled to be shown on July 18, 2014 in 3D from 20th Century Fox to be distributed in the Philippines by Warner. Bros Pictures!
