| 11.10.2013 – Foldabots Toy Book 6 was launched earlier today at the Atrium of Robinsons Magnolia. Jomike Tejido the creator of the Toy Book series that was compiled from its monthly appearance on K-Zone magazine was on-hand to celebrate the event.
Summit Media that publishes K-Zone and the Toy Books where present to assist the kids on the activities that was set for the event. The grand prize winner for the original Foldabot character took home the biggest prize! |
The winner of course took home an original artwork of JoMike’s first ever Foldabot in Buhawi which appeared in K-Zone magazine in 2006. He mentioned the original concept was roughly hand drawn before it was published in the magazine.
Not just inspired by Transformers, the Foldabots is an all Filipino original concept which also has something do with paper folding or Origami in Japanese.
Besides taking home the top prize there are also minor awards from the winners. The honorable mention that made a Foldabot that turns into a snake got the small version of the large version of Buhawi. The last prize that was given away was the signed cover of Foldabots Toy Book 6 that was printed in a huge board.

Foldabots Toy Book 6 is a compilation of the characters appearing monthly on K-Zone magazine and its available now at National Bookstore with the cover price PhP 195.00 pesos.
