Gabriel is not working alone he gets orders from his boss Lillian Strand (Marg Helgenberger), the director of the elite government cyber-security agency Cyber Command who is straightforward and who overseas the unit’s mission.
He also gets a personal bodyguard assigned by Strand in Riley Neal (Meghan Ory), a Secret Service agent protecting Gabriel from outside threats. Besides from being having an unpredictable behavior he’s also have an appetite for being reckless with disregard to protocol for the reason someone has to watch his back and the microchip in his head.
The other members of the team are Chris Jameson (Michael Rady) and Gonzalo “Gonzo” Rodriguez (James Martinez), two resourceful investigators. While Dr. Shenendoah (John Billingsley is the scientist who developed the microchip, whose son, Nelson (PJ Byrne), is jealous of Gabriel’s prominent place in his father’s life. The US has a secret weapon and that is Gabriel Vaughn, the first supercomputer with a beating heart and the most valuable piece of technology the country ever created.
