|03.24.2014 – Art in the Park is an annual event, where art galleries converge together with the artists from all mediums in this one day event. Vinyl on Vinyl has been part of this since the art gallery opened in February 2010.
VoV has established itself as one of the art galleries that featured their own in-house artists like Anjo Bolarda, Gab Tiongson, Iyan De Jesus, and Danger Sanchez to name a few of the talents. They also had Jon Bugerman and Gary Baseman do a solo show too.
At the recently concluded Art in the Park they have sold paintings and works from the artists previously had a show at Vinyl on Vinyl. There are also new works that hasn’t had their own solo shows but featured at the booth.
There are paintings and art prints sold during the whole day event. There’s one painting that caught some attention too like the one done by Danger Sanchez. It’s an image of Heath Ledger as The Joker mounted in a thick frame, which appears to be in 3D that has a light up feature for you to clearly see the image.
It’s something fans of the late Heath Ledger’s interpretation of the Joker from The Dark Knight would certainly look into this. The image that speaks “Why So Serious?” is so powerful it has become a popular image of Batman’s nemesis.
If you missed Art in the Park last Sunday check out the images taken featuring Vinyl on Vinyl, which featured works of up and coming talents here:
