Behind the Visuals: Daredevil Title Sequence!

03.30.2016 – The second season of Marvel’s Daredevil prove that it can still be relevant in the middle of the superhero trend on television. Netflix has dropped all 13 episodes for you to binge watch how they introduced the Punisher and Elektra.

The sophomore series that introduce the street level in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is not just quality in narrative and character but also in visual, where the title sequence for Daredevil is something worth watching before the story unfolds artistically.


Marvel’s Daredevil title sequence is both a visual art and at the same time taking homage to the character’s comicbook roots.

This was done by Miguel A. Sale an FX artist who brought the title sequence to life that became Daredevil’s identity. This was introduce during the first season’s run and it has been the same sequence throughout season 2 where you can see the making of the Daredevil opening title.



The initial concept in the visual opening sequence takes cues also how Hell’s Kitchen has become corrupted through the buildings and including in this is how justice can be blind as the final version was rendered compared to the pre-final sequence.
