Galerie Stephanie | Bukal sa Puso ng Lagim

04.10.2016 – KikoMachine has garnered a cult following that made Manix Abrera one of the most popular talent in the Philippine komiks industry. This also has expanded from a daily comic strip, online News Hardcore and Travel Hardcore.

“Bukal sa Puso ng Lagim” is Abrera’s first solo show at the Galerie Stpahnie featuring his early KikoMachine works that evolved from having 8 identifiable characters all whom without a names to tapered characters in silhouettes.

Like all of Manix Abrera’s signing events at local conventions he never runs out of audience lining up to have his autograph/sketch in their copies of compiled graphic novels of 12 KikoMachine or his silent comicbooks, 12 and 14. During the event he also released a compilation of the early KikoMachine comic strips named after this show with two covers. The art show was well received that most of his works on exhibit has already been sold out. The art gallery had to extend beyond the 9 PM show to accommodate fans who stood in line to get his autograph.

If you missed the opening of his exhibit at Gallerie Stephanie here is some of the images taken during the launch:

'“Bukal sa Puso ng Lagim' a solo show by Manix Abrera will run beggining April 9 to 25, 2016. For more details about the art being exhibit visit Gelerie Stephanie art gallery located at Unit 1B 183 Parc Plaza Bldg., E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave., Bagumbayan in Quezon City.
