Galerie Stephanie | The Soup Can Factory
| One artist comes to mind for those exposed to Pop Art and immediately see the Campbell Soup. That artist is Andy Warhol, and for many years since his passing many have followed his footsteps and been inspired a generation of artists that included his art style to their works through their perspective.
Farley Del Rosario, a Manila-based artist, has established himself going into his second solo exhibition with his first early this year at Galerie Joaquin. This time, Farley shares his perspective that inspired him from his childhood with his exposure to popular culture is creating his own niche in an ever-growing artists community. |

Galerie Stephanie | Dreams
| Most people are still dreaming, but Manix Abrera, the man has been working hard to make that Dream happen and more. He’s been at his peak in creating stories from panel to panel while appearing in local comic shops and events signing autographs and meeting with his longtime fans.
This time, Manix is having the time of his life traveling and seeing the world. It is also that he is reliving a Dream of having his next Solo Art Show with Galerie Stephanie, and this is not the first time he’s done it. But this is one exhibit, where you don’t see the comic strips and artwork anywhere as a one-off that’s great to see. |

Vinyl On Vinyl | Make Mistakes
| If you happen to be touring around the Makati Central Business District or exploring the urban scene stumbled upon Built Cycles in Poblacion. Maybe you happen to discover the underground gigs happening in SaGuijo Bar finding these random murals that are vaguely familiar.
Of course, a visual artist like Raise Hell can give you that recall that's quite the distinct originality, which definitely stands out when it comes to the creations of this mural art that you might have seen all over the city. This time Vinyl on Vinyl puts a spotlight on her works and how she learned from the mistakes made that made the artist known. |

Secret Fresh | The Hidden Fortress
| The relevance of Street Art Culture has changed in the Philippines, and those who continue to stay true to their core to what they‘ve been from the start are truly genuine in nature. Trip63 has been supportive of the grassroots organizing events like the Meeting of Styles and representing communities like Pilipinas Street Plan.
This low key visual artist shines and still carry that street smart, but humble demeanor often unnoticed and unappreciated for his contribution to the culture. But this time this is his spotlight through his sixth solo show for Secret Fresh who deserves every accolade being true to himself. |

Space Encounters | Future Perfect
| In the world of Bryan Yabut, there’s a “Future Perfect” that is actually the title of his solo show by Space Encounters Gallery. In the midst of a larger art event his works were a subtle tribute from part of his youth growing up and the pop culture that shaped a generation that still have the nostalgia from the era of the 80s and 90s.
Bryan Yabut’s body of work is obviously a reflections of growing up and six art pieces defines his personality and nods to the animation and print medium of a bygone yesteryears were they also influenced and aspire this budding artist. |

Secret Fresh + Jade Suayan | Warped Heads
| The local art exhibitions are slowly opening and bringing back visitors to their art galleries. Secret Fresh is back and is opening a line-up that includes the return of Jade Suayan with her second solo art show titled “Warped Heads,” which features some of the head characters she has put together that are either distorted or… ‘Warped.’
Jade’s second go around having her sophomore exhibition is not as extravagant or taking up space of one of the gallery sections. Still, it is poignant to relate how post-pandemic must be for artists to take inspiration and how the world appears to be warped in all the things happening in the last two years. |
