| 05.19.2016 – “MacGyver” is one of the shows revealed to be part of the CBS television line-up of show for the 2016-2017 Season. It was reported previously that the show will be a re-imagined from the original series that ran for seven seasons.
The new series will feature Lucas Till (X-Men: Apocalypse) as a young Angus MacGyver creates a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening. |
Richard Dean Anderson who originally portrayed the character where the series was aired from 1985 to 1992 was popularly known where he last seen in a Citan TV commercial from 2012. The re-imagination of the series introduces a younger MacGyver in his 20s portrayed by Lucas Till is far from the classic hero that long time fans have known.
There has already been mixed reactions to the teaser trailer revealed early this morning and if you haven’t seen the teaser here’s the trailer below:
