This is her third major solo art show with Secret Fresh, and this time Jade Suayan is on top of the world as taking space at the Ronac Lifestyle Center’s roof deck gallery means she is her way and ready to be challenged in bringing her art style to the next level with these neon coloured works heading into the New Year.
There are also a couple of art pieces you won’t notice are collaborations as she experiments with different materials, and those two are made from embroidered material using her template as the part of the artwork that is not painted. Besides the attractive creations, her work won’t be without a new bust based on her character.
This bust this time is new with three arms being animatedly expressive with a large grin on her face. But what brings this together is her works that have their distinct emotional narrative that asks your reaction to each of the character’s appearance and as themed as the title itself the colours of each canvas give you a certain illumination and thought.
But the bigger pieces like the large mural at the center divided into five parts something else and you’ll ask yourself how Jade has put this together into one massive image of the emotions and personalities of her characters is certainly worth looking at in person.
