Rurouni Kenshin Live Action Movie poster debuts online

With a new trailer debuting this week to hype the release of the live action Rurouni Kenshin movie in August, it seems the very first official poster has also made its way online!

There he is, Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O) as Himura Kenshin... formerly known as Hitokiri Battousai! If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out here to compliment the release of this fashionably awesome new poster!

Rurouni Kenshin Live-Action Official Pics Released!

Following up on a first-look scan released a few days ago and via a post at Anime News Network, the staff and makers of next year's upcoming live action adaptation of "Rurouni Kenshin". Also known as "Samurai X" in the US and based on the manga and anime series of the same name created by Nobuhiro Watsuki, the movie will premiere on August, and will star Takeru Satoh of Kamen Rider Den-O fame as the legendary slasher Kenshin Himura himself, with Emi Takei playing his love interest Kamiya Kaoru, who is pictured below.
