| 10.28.2013 – By now you could have seen the latest Happy Meal toys from McDonald’s in the Philippines. There’s no news (as of this report) if this will be available entirely in the Asian region.
The latest toys are from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the figures and Strawberry Shortcake digital watches. They looked new but the TMNT figures were released in the US sometime last year along with for turtles on their zipper bikes. |
The odd pairing with Strawberry Shortcake looks interesting with the watches that were possibly not available in other countries. The latest Happy Meal toys where sighted early Sunday afternoon being offered already and it seems McDonald’s doesn’t have the Happy Meal Box.
Here’s a first look of what was originally released in the US last year that featured not only the four turtles but also another set with their rides. In other countries outside the US they offer alternatives not all eight but in the Philippines they only have the four figures.
The Strawberry Shortcake digital watches looks interesting since its more of an accessory than a toy that was previously released and just like the My Little Pony last September expect these to be sold out.
Nickelodeon’s 2012 break out animation with TMNT have Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo and Michelangelo for the boys while four characters from Strawberry Shortcake is feature in the digital watches now available in your nearest McDonald’s restaurant throughout the Philippines and the rest of Asia will have it too.
