TMNT 2012 Series | Mikey Turflytle

02.12.2019 – By now the latest series from Nickelodeon is the “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, a re-imagination of the TMNT animated series. Following the end of its 2012 series the studio behind the hit show introduce a different kind of TMNT series on 2 March 2017 that will be fresh and geared toward a new audience.

Although the 2012 series has been replaced by this new adventures of this TMNT that is unfamiliar to longtime fans that doesn’t mean the toys would eventually be gone from shelf space. Some of the later waves were repackaged and older ones went up on clearance like Mike Turflytle!

TMNT 2012 Series: April O'Neil!

01.08.2015 – Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may be on a off season after a surprising season 2. For now taking a look back on some notable characters that were introduced in the very first season.

In the world of the TMNT there are a handful of human characters and most of them were mutated into creatures you’ve heard of like Dogpound or Leatherhead. But the only ones who have been human throughout the series is April O’Neil!

TMNT 2012 Series: Dojo Splinter!

12.14.2014 – Splinter is one of the key characters in all the iterations from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He has served as mentor and father figure for the four turtles he raised in the sewers upon exposure to the mutagen that made him a rat.

For some origins he’s either a human named Hamato Yoshi or a rat that gained knowledge upon getting doused by the experimental ooze, but overall he’s one of the main characters in the series either comicbook or in animation. In the latest series he’s not only in his robes, but has geared to battle as “Dojo Splinter!”

TMNT 2012 Series: Leatherhead!

02.15.2014 – Leatherhead has been one of the original TMNT characters dating back to the Mirage Studios black & white comic book. He’s often a turtle ally than a villain who appeared in the 1987 animated series.

In the various iterations of the character, Leatherhead is mostly a huge alligator and his origins as an exotic pet that got flushed down the sewers. This origin got stuck as a template being retold in the other various TMNT series.

TMNT 2012 Series: Metalhead!

11.06.2013 – The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles now airing the second season in the US on Nickelodeon have some surprises.

The four turtles have their hands full with bad guys like The Foot Clan and its minions like Dogpound.

They also have allies as well that you might not have seen before. Take Metalhead for instance a robotic turtle built from destroyed Kraang-droid parts first appeared in the sixth episode of the first season in “Metalhead.”

Happy Meal 2013: TMNT & Strawberry Shortcake!

10.28.2013 – By now you could have seen the latest Happy Meal toys from McDonald’s in the Philippines. There’s no news (as of this report) if this will be available entirely in the Asian region.

The latest toys are from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the figures and Strawberry Shortcake digital watches. They looked new but the TMNT figures were released in the US sometime last year along with for turtles on their zipper bikes.

TMNT 2012 Series: Dogpound!

10.16.2013 – The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that’s heading for season 2 just announced some of what to expect at the recent concluded New York Comic Con.

But for those who haven’t caught up with the series on Nickelodeon better see season 1. Speaking of the first season there are memorable scenes and new characters introduced in the show. Namely some new mutated nemesis like Dogpound known as Mikey’s former idol in Christ Bradford who resembles Chuck Norris.

TMNT 2012 Series: Donatello!

06.10.2013 – If you haven’t seen the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle animated series on Nickelodeon you must be living under the rock. The new series that debut in the US last year had a brand new set of action figures, play sets, vehicles, and even role play toys that you can choose from the four turtles with their signature weapons.

But mostly the toys have major interest being a tie-up of the new animated series. If you haven’t seen any of the basic figures lately chances are they are already sold out and it would likely be impossible to get at least one of the four turtles.

TMNT 2012 Series: Michelangelo!

06.06.2013 – The New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that’s now available in Philippine retails has started moving out of the shelves into the fans and collectors who have followed the franchise since the first cartoon came out in 1988.

The popularity of the latest CG animated series from Nickelodeon has brought new fans that are now getting their hands on the action figures as well as the vehicles and the playsets. The most sought after collectibles in the toy line is the basic 4 inch figures wave 1 series. Previously we had the opportunity to feature Raphael and Leonardo.

TMNT 2012 Series: Leonardo!

05.24.2013 – There are super teams and then we have the heroes in the half shells. For every group or a team there’s one leader. Optimus Prime to the Autobots, then we have Duke in G.I. Joe, Lion-O in Thundercats, and here we have Leonardo from Nickelodeon’s latest hit with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Previously Raphael the Sai wielding bad turtle of the group gets featured with all the fine details of the action figure from Playmates Toys. Now take a look at the fearless Samurai slicing leader of the ninja turtles!

TMNT 2012 Series: Raphael!

05.08.2013 – Busting out from the hit animated series from Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is Raphael the bad boy among the four fearsome heroes trained by a Japanese mutated human turned rat in Splinter. The action figure is based from the TMNT series that premiered in 2012 has finally arrived in Philippine shores.

It was previously sighted in retail stores such Toys R’ Us and Toy Kingdom carrying the first wave of the series by long time manufacturer of TMNT in Playmates Toys who has been tied to the brand since its original toys came out in 1988.
