Happy Meal Spotlight | The Secret Life of Pets

08.20.2016 – “The Secret Life of Pets” is the latest Happy Meal toys for this month in promoting the 3D animated feature film. This is also from the same producers who brought you Despicable ME and the Minions. In selected parts of Asia the pets are figurines that feature gimmicks from wind ups, push button, and sound bites. It’s definitely going to be another Happy Meal filled with new characters. McDonald’s is celebrating the fun. If you haven’t seen these toys find out who’s your favorite character as they released eight for you to collect.

Happy Meal Japan 2015: Tom & Jerry w/ Shaun the Sheep!

06.19.2015 – Everyone is wondering if Japan is part of the Asia Pacific region. Yes McDonald’s Japan is part of this region, but doesn’t necessarily mean they follow the other countries what Happy Meal they release given the Minions mania is back.



It depends actually which country goes out of its own and cater to their local taste. Given that Japan is one of the countries stands out with their uniqueness their Happy Meal right now aren’t the Minions but Tom & Jerry and Shaun the Sheep…

Happy Meal 2013: TMNT & Strawberry Shortcake!

10.28.2013 – By now you could have seen the latest Happy Meal toys from McDonald’s in the Philippines. There’s no news (as of this report) if this will be available entirely in the Asian region. The latest toys are from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the figures and Strawberry Shortcake digital watches. They looked new but the TMNT figures were released in the US sometime last year along with for turtles on their zipper bikes.

Meal Toy Battles: Happy Meal vs Kids Meal 2013!

08.16.2013 – Call it “the last man standing” but in the Philippines there are only two fast food restaurants who are still offering meals for kids that have toys for free. In the previous feature back in 2011 there were three including Wendy’s who offered toys but they stop having them anymore. Jollibee the biggest fast food restaurant in the Philippines which has now have stores all over the world is the second store that offers meals with toys. Of course McDonald’s started it all more than 30 years ago.

McDo PH: Should Implement a Happy Meal Policy?

07.23.2013 – Happy Meal’s recent success with the Despicable Me 2 Minions has pushed a huge demand that can never be compared. The global popularity of the yellow guys talking gibberish has changed the way some McDonald’s in other regions to re-think the policy to avoid some incidents from happening again. Smurfs 2 is the next Happy Meal toy in the line-up following the smashing success of DM2’s minion craze. This puts a lot of questions about how this will be done.

Happy Meal the Croods: Grug!

03.18.2013 – During the Croods press screening last Saturday everyone got treated to a surprise from McDonald’s which gave away the latest Happy Meal Toy for April 2013 ahead of the usual release date which is usually a week before end of the month. Most popular characters from the Croods that was given away were Nicholas Cage’s character in Grug and Emma Stone’s Eep. There are six more characters but those are entirely creatures that was featured in the film.

Happy Meal 2012: Ice Age Continental Drift!

07.05.2012 – Ice Age: Continental Drift the fourth installment of the animated feature is getting the promotions in breakfast cereals and of course the much awaited Happy Meal toy for July 2012. There where still a lot of people trying to complete the Madagascar 3 from last month which immediately changed into what we see now. Usually when McDonald’s in the Philippines updates their latest Happy Meal the same goes to their website. Right now the Madagascar promo is still up and they have not changed what’s new for the kids.
