03.23.2014 – Kapow! Universe, the Marvel Concept Store in the Philippines celebrated its 75the anniversary by promoting the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which will be hitting the big screen on March 26, 2014.
Local comic books artists led by Leinil Yu was at the store meeting with fans, singing comic books, and making sketches. The other local artists where just across the store supporting the celebration and launching the new Captain America vinyl by Funko Pop!

The weekend starts with Kapow! The Marvel Store in the Philippines, which
opened last year letting you know the “House of Ideas” have bigger things planned for 2014. This is one of those in celebrating the 75th anniversary of Marvel Comics.
Formerly known as Timely Comics Inc. re-introduced as Marvel with Captain America #1, and with the film coming out this week it’s just the right time to celebrate. The local comic book artist was present since the store opened at 10 AM. Leinil Yu was inside the Marvel store signing comic books and doing limited sketches for fans.

Leinil Yu. She also gave a tour of the store what to see to expect when you drop by to make the visit.
Harvey Tolibao makes a visit to support Leinil and meeting up with friends. Kapow also launched the new Captain America vinyl figurine from Funko Pop. This figure features the new costume Steve Rogers is wearing in the Captain America: The Winter Soldier along with Black Widow and Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier.
Kapow! Universe has a new display featuring the characters appearing the new Captain America film, and what they looked like when they first appeared in the comic books. Each display is accompanied with |Marvel Studios’ official theatrical poster you have seen in cinemas that featured the actors.
