Happy Meal PH 2016 | Sanrio & Transformers

07.16.2016 – In case you’ve been anticipating the new Happy Meal toys from McDonald’s worry no more as they have released a new set of collectible for this month. It features a new set of Transformers.

For the girls its more of Philippine first ever release since it was exclusively available only in Japan. This is the Sanrio characters that not only feature the iconic Hello Kitty, but also the classic ones like Little Twins Stars all this for the month of July.

Those who are excited for a new Happy Meal some speculated that it would be “The Secret Life of Pets” since it’s currently the toys in Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and North America. But it has to wait for the Philippines as the next one for the rest of July is Transformers: Robots in Disguise and Sanrio Characters.

Transformers: Robots in Disguise

This is the third time Transformers: Robots in Disguise would have collectibles for McDonald’s Happy Meal as earlier this year there was set released in North America that featured for characters and four vehicle forms. These won’t be reaching the Asian region sometime soon, but they have these Masks based on Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock and Strong Arm.

Each mask is wearable for kids and adults that feature simple gimmicks. These where released in India early this year along with the My Little Pony wearable masks and this was also released in Russia sometime in December 2015.

Sanrio Characters

For the Sanrio Characters these are a first to be released outside of Japan and the Philippines is probably the first country to have these as part of a Happy Meal. The Sanrio Characters where released exclusively in Japan in April 2016 composed of eight characters, but only four makes it available in the Philippines that’s good enough as the notable character aside from Hello Kitty are the Pompompurin, My Melody. And Little Twin Stars that have been rarely seen outside of Japan as collectible merchandise that was introduced in 1875 and became popular in the 1980s.

These Sanrio Characters are Pompompurin, a golden do retriever which is the biggest of the four for being a sticker and container. Hello Kitty is a comb, My Melody is a picture frame, and Little Twin Stars are toothbrush holders.

The most sought after here are the girls Sanrio Characters as they have been only released exclusively in McDonald’s Japan. The Transformers wearable masks could have been released together with the My Little Pony counterparts. No details if McDonald’s Philippines will release that for now get all these now beginning July 15, 2016 until supply lasts.
