06.16.2019 – McDonald’s Happy Meal toys have been a hit or miss in the past months that whatever is released in Southeast Asia is limited by the properties that are only offered to this particular region. Besides that, you can’t buy the toys separately unlike in Western countries as most Asians would end up buying the toys than food. Basically, there’s a rarity in buying only the toys unless it is applicable to all countries within Southeast Asia. But with the Philippines, it can only happen when one selected branch or store decides to clear their storage space and that’s when McDo Toy Bazaar happens, which has been a rare occurrence and not all stores do it.

07.16.2016 – In case you’ve been anticipating the new Happy Meal toys from McDonald’s worry no more as they have released a new set of collectible for this month. It features a new set of Transformers. For the girls its more of Philippine first ever release since it was exclusively available only in Japan. This is the Sanrio characters that not only feature the iconic Hello Kitty, but also the classic ones like Little Twins Stars all this for the month of July.

06.10.2016 – More reports regarding the ‘Toy Bazaar’ from McDonald’s has been sighted as previously mentioned that this was not just one store. It turns out a second McDonald’s restaurant within the Glorietta Mall also held their bazaar. The ‘Toy Bazaar’ concept is a rare occurrence that only happens in the Philippines as there no reports in other countries that held this type of in-store event. This kind of promo is held due to unsold Happy Meal toys previously released.

Happy Meal Spotlight: Adventure Time!

04.19.2016 – McDonald’s latest Happy Meal toy featured is ‘Adventure Time’, which is now available that has begun availability since Monday April 18th. This is now the first time ‘Adventure Time’ was featured as a meal toy. The first time Jake and Finn was the featured meal toy was in 2013 that also have BMO and Ice King as part of the set, which also include another version of the lead characters. For this Happy Meal four more characters where introduced.

04.16.2016 – “Adventure Time” continues to be relevant from the perspective of Jake the Dog and Finn, which earned a cult following due to its otherworldly narrative. It built its own following from the children to young adults. It has become a comicbook, videogame, and merchandise from action figures and now making a Happy Meal toy from McDonald’s. But this is not the first time Adventure Time featured as part of a toy meal this time they get a repeat with more characters.
