Happy Meal #1Shots | Miles Morales Spider-Verse
Yes, Miles Morales is in one of the sets for the Happy Meal toys. But you won’t actually find an accurate representation of the character until you find out that the sticker labels to produce him is included in another figure.
In the last seven days, the most coveted character in this set is Spider-Noir/Spider-Ham which turned up to some stores to be sold out. The black body actually an interesting template compared to the other seven figurines. There’s also a white template but it’s exclusively available only in Australia along with three other figurines rounding up a total of twelve.
Mixing and Matching Spiders
The Spider-Noir as voiced by Nicholas Cage was an interesting character, but the representation of his figurine for McDonald’s Happy Meal is more like a generic black spider. The gimmick for this figurine features a pseudo web shooter/bag tag that after pulling the string you can retract it with the solid piece that you can clamp to your zipper bag. The labels that include in this figure is less desired as too common to follow the usual set up for each character.
Having found the sticker label that makes up Miles Morales costume can be found packed with the Peni Parker/Miles Morales figurine that has a thick stand which doubles up as a paper puncher that makes a logo of a spider’s web. This also includes four different colored strips for you to test the puncher.
Making your own Spider-Man
But what’s important in this figurine is the Miles Morales sticker that you can use for the black body template. Instead of applying the labels that make up Spider-Noir or Spider-Ham you can use the Miles Morales sticker for this one. Since there’s no other body color that works for this one and yellow is not this Spider-Man’s color.
Even using the Peni Parker sticker is going to be a waste so it’s better to keep it and use it in another suitable figurine. But so far the idea for that seems to be slim in experimenting with the other labels. In producing your own Miles Morales figurine this is the way to make one and it looks spectacular.
It’s a Toy Meal Product
Although the figurines are superb as mentioned previously the stickers are cheap in quality. They’re not reusable once you stick it to one figure that’s about it. The stickers themselves are not permanent in these figurines as they tend to loose their sticky-ness and that’s why some are not impressed with this month’s Happy Meal.
Some people treat Happy Meal toys as a highly regarded collectible item, which will disappoint a few them in the long run. The Spider-Verse figurine alone doesn’t appeal generally to everyone unless you’re a Happy Meal collector or into the character. But for those who are not used to these types of designs they are not actually a playable product unlike the actions figures that you can purchase in department stores.
Spider-Verdict
The Spider-Verse figurines would be considered an ‘Art Toy’ than a usual playable figure that most kids would enjoy as the stickers are easily peeled off. Its entirely an interesting set of figurines featuring the characters from the film, but the truth is none of them have the appearance in this form
Miles Morales doesn’t have a decent blank body you have to use the Spider-Noir figurine to use the sticker packed with the yellow one. But if you’re keen just to follow what stickers for the specific body it won’t be that much fun than experimenting in making your own Spider0Man figurine. In putting together Miles Morales figurine you have to use the right body color and sticker, which would be a good idea since he was the hero of this animated feature film.
Overall using the right stickers it came out just right to have a legit Miles Morales even though its not official, but you’re open to create your own characters from this set or just have it as it was. But this one right now is interesting and some might be scratching their heads to find out that you need two figurines to actually produce one and its not that as challenging as thought.
