If you are not into completing a set chances are the previous Playmo Figures that featured the SWAT Police and Queen Bee is the one that stood out for you. Then there’s a chance you might not notice the Ninja Girl or this Cyborg that might was unnoticeable under your radar.
Sometimes science fiction themed characters from Playmobil are a hit or miss. But this Cyborg could be your favourite too. Series 14 has some interesting characters from the Boys pack in comparison to the Girls set. It just happens that Playmo PH immediately swooped in and brought in Series 15 and Playmobil the Movie blind bags that the previous series was immediately a forgotten story.
Half Man Armed to the Kill
The Cyborg has twelve parts to put together once you open that Series 14 bag. The appearance in the product catalog is deceiving you to ignore it. Just like the SWAT Police this one has some interesting gimmick besides having his entire arm with a launching rocket with a push of your thumb.
In the product catalog it only shows that the HUD (Heads-Up Display) covers almost his entire face, but you’ll notice after putting him together the head piece that goes on top of his hairpiece has two options. It’s either you use the Virtual HUD or the One-Eye Manual Cross-Target Scope for some serious direct hit on the enemy.
It is interesting now how Playmobil gives you these little gimmicks and options for your Playmo Figure. The same goes with the SWAT Police that came with an option mask to cover his face or not cover at all. It’s just the product photos that came with each figure are not clear with the proper instructions only for complicated characters with those unique accessories are featured.
Moving Parts Revealed
What’s unique with this Cyborg is his entire body is translucent another perk for this figure and the details including the chest piece that has the translucent hose connecting to the right arm launcher.
Although the figure appear to have limited accessories THIS Cyborg IS THE WALKING ACCESSORY even if he appears to be having a pirate leg to go with the half man half machine vibe that hardly noticed by those who picked the best ones from this Series 14 for the boys set.
Overall putting together this Cyborg gives you the interest and curiosity that stands out for this character. The only thing that Playmobil needs to improve is the quality of images for the product catalog and a proper instruction for individual character such as this Cyborg and also for the SWAT Police officer.
