Happy Meal 2019 | Monster Jam & Shopkins Cutie Cars

10.19.2019 – In case you haven’t been to McDonald’s lately there’s a new set of toys. The news on what will be the next toys has been seen through the announcements from McDonald’s Australia and Hong Kong. Although both counties are not part of Southeast Asia they have the same toys as what is currently offered now.

The latest Happy Meal toys are Monster Jam and Shopkins Cutie Cars, which started availability in the Philippines yesterday and Singapore has started offering it since 17 October 2019. The rest of the region and this is not the first time the toys have been offered before...

Monster Jam trucks are not the first time it was offered in Southeast Asia as collectively it was available also last year, while the Shopkins Cutie Cars have been available in North America with a complete twenty set. But for the Asian region they come in four pairs to match up with the four trucks of the aforementioned Monster Jam set of new additions to the roster.

This promo for the Philippines has just been offered since 18 October 2019 and it will run for the next twenty eight days similar to the previous toys offered. Although most Happy Meal toys are promotional release tie-up, and Monster Jam has not have a road show in the Philippines since 2016 and their next event will be in Singapore on 7 December 2019 as for Shopkins there’s always a new toy tie-up with Happy Meal. So far there’s no new sightings related to the Cutie Cars in the country.

Shopkins Cutie Cars were previously offered in North America in 2017, and finally making its availability for Australiasia as announced in Australia and Hong Kong having the set. But here’s where things look different for Australia as for the rest of the Asian region will have the same set offered that includes the Philippines.

They Do Not Come in Pairs

For those who are expecting that the Shopkins Cutie Cars are sold in pairs THEY ARE SOLD IN SINGLES as how it was originally marketed in theNorth American release in 2017 is that you have the option to choose a color variation of that particular character as there must be a miscommunication how it was sold in the Philippines as compared to how the toys were sold in Southeast Asian counterparts particularly with Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam.

With a lot of confusion beiung cleared up the following day (Saturday) of its released as not all stores are not fully informed of the policy how it was sold individually than paired togethere. It was marketed for children to "Pick Your Color" that was not emphasis in the ads in the display that most stores with its Southeas Asian counterparts have made correction on the first day of its availablity.

McDo Toy Bazaar

If you’re passing by SM Megamall, the McDonald’s branch inside the mall is having a ‘spring cleaning’ with their leftover stocks of Hot Wheels, Ugly Dolls, and a few NASA x Snoopy in Space toys for their McDo Toy Bazaar.

You can probably have a complete set of Hot Wheels as sighted yesterday that these toys might still be in stock, which depends on what’s still there. Do inquire with the assigned staff for availability.

NOTE: Toy Bazaar do not happen simultaneously please inquire with McDonald’s branch regarding this in-store event
